  • Stylish historic hotel

  • We recommend Kurashiki Ivy Square in Kurashiki. This hotel is a renovated former spinning mill, and its red brick and ivy-covered exterior is very stylish. You can also feel the historical connection to the denim of Jeans Street. The hotel itself is located in the famous Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, so you can stroll through the beautiful streets as soon as you drop off your luggage at the hotel. Kojima is also easily accessible, about 20 minutes by train. This hotel allows you to enjoy both a stylish atmosphere and the history of Okayama.

  • If you want to enjoy Kojima and the scenic area, this is the place

  • If you're traveling to Okayama, Kurashiki is a convenient base. The Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel is within walking distance of Kurashiki Station, and its location right in front of the famous Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter is also appealing. Kojima, where you'll find your destination, Jeans Street, is less than an hour away by train from Kurashiki Station. This is recommended for those who want to efficiently see all the sights in Okayama, such as browsing denim in Kojima in the morning and strolling through the beautiful streets of Kurashiki in the afternoon.

  • A hotel close to the station, convenient for event venues

  • I stayed here during the long weekend to visit the Ohara Museum of Art. There are several venues for the Kurashiki Hinamatsuri, and I heard from the hotel that you need to travel by train to get there. If you're just looking to stay and don't want too much, there's no better hotel than one that's close to the station. There are hotels that are closer to the station, but of the hotels I've stayed at, I recommend this one.

  • A hotel located in the heart of Kurashiki's most popular tourist destinations

  • Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel is located in the famous Bikan Historical Quarter, allowing you to see the Bikan Historical Quarter and Ohara Museum of Art up close. It is also in a great location for your desired Hinamatsuri. There are plenty of places to eat in the city of Kurashiki, including casual izakayas where you can enjoy seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. The accommodation fee starts from around 7,500 yen for a twin room, which I think is relatively reasonable.

  • A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kurashiki with the atmosphere of a former traditional restaurant

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a typical Kurashiki atmosphere. Although the structure is old, it is clean and very tasteful, so I recommend it. It used to be a traditional Japanese restaurant, so the food is delicious, with kaiseki cuisine made with plenty of seafood. You can relax and enjoy the view of the garden. The private bath is relaxing, with the scent of the wooden bathtub and the water feels great. I think it's a good place to stay for sightseeing in Kurashiki.

JR-Kurashiki Ekimae Nishi In Building 7-2,Achi, Kurashiki-city

  • A hotel located in front of Kurashiki Station with easy access

  • It's in a building in front of Kurashiki Station. The rooms on the upper floors are not noisy and there is no noise from cars or other things. The rooms are larger than those in business hotels and are relaxing. I think the food is also quite delicious. It's great that you can go there without getting wet even if it rains in front of the station.
