We recommend Oedo Oedo Onsen Monogatari in Naruko Onsen, Miyagi Prefecture. This is a wonderful hot spring inn that offers a gorgeous Buffet with all-you-can-eat crab, as well as raw tuna and scallops, all served in a live kitchen. While the food tends to grab your attention, this is also a recommended hot spring inn with a large public bath and open-air bath where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Naruko Onsenkyo and the wide sky.

If you're looking for all-you-can-eat crab, I recommend Oedo Onsen Monogatari. I previously stayed here when I went to Aizuwakamatsu with a friend touring historical sites. Reservations are required, but the shuttle bus from Aizuwakamatsu Station to the hotel was convenient. The large public bath and open-air bath were very spacious and open, allowing me to enjoy onsen(hot spring) to my heart's content. Dinner was Buffet with a wide variety of dishes, and I was particularly impressed by the dishes made with local ingredients and the freshly prepared menu in the live kitchen. The all-you-can-eat crab option was also extensive, allowing me to enjoy it to my heart's content.

Although it is only about an hour away from Shinjuku Station, I think this hot spring inn is not well known. It is located above Fuefukigawa Fruit Park, which is said to be one of the three new great night views in Japan, and the night view of the Kofu Basin that can be seen at night is very beautiful.
