昔は指宿観光ホテルの名でジャングル風呂が有名でした。今は本当に素敵なリゾートホテルになり、ホテル前の浜辺にある砂蒸し風呂はとてもよく温まるので、一度は体験してみてください。日差しを避けるようにさしてくれるパラソルもかわいいですよ。

ホテル内に砂蒸し風呂の設備があるから、砂蒸しが終えると屋外に出ることなく浴衣を脱いでそのままシャワーをかかれば良いので冬は寒い思いをしなくて良い。宿泊料金も手頃で、朝食はバイキング形式、夕食は会席で全部美味しかったです。

指宿温泉の名物砂蒸し温泉へは、徒歩3分です。海岸に穴を掘って横になった上から砂をかぶせる「お風呂」です。15分もすると全身から汗がにじみ出てきます。砂蒸し風呂のあとは、美肌の湯と言われる源泉かけ流しのお風呂を楽しみましょう。希望があれば貸切風呂が利用できます。

桜島は見えないですが、部屋やお風呂からは海一面の絶景を望むことができます。食事は鹿児島の食材をふんだんに使って、味も盛り付けも工夫されていてとても美味しく頂きました。砂蒸し風呂はホテル内ではできないので、砂蒸し風呂体験できる場所まで無料送迎してくれます。

This is a holiday village, so you can stay safely and at a reasonable price. There is a spacious sand bath here, where you can change into a work uniform, have the staff cover you in sand, and sweat it out thoroughly. After washing off the sand in the shower, you can head straight to open-air bath. I sweated so much that I can't describe how refreshed I felt. There are various types of rooms, and I chose a twin room facing the sea, which had a great view and was spacious and clean. I also liked that the floors were wooden, which gave it a clean feeling.
