This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with Breathtaking view view, built on a slight hill right in front of the sea. No matter how long you look at the view from here, you will never get bored. The rooms were spacious and calming, and the food and baths were both very satisfying. The open-air bath was also incredibly comfortable.

The view from the room is great. After relaxing in the open-air bath while enjoying the view of Matsushima, dinner was exceptional. The fresh sashimi was especially delicious, but if you like oysters, I would especially recommend going to Matsushima during oyster season.
