"Yamadaya RyokanReviews about "

  • A homely Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a Showa-era feel

  • This Ryokan (Japanese inn) is popular for its homey atmosphere, where you can see the faces of the owner and landlady. The simple, home-style cooking is made with love. It is especially popular with skiers in the winter. It retains the atmosphere of the past, and has an atmosphere that makes you feel like you've traveled back in time to a Showa-era Ryokan (Japanese inn), but it's also nice to have a nostalgic feel to it. This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) you can fully enjoy delicious Japanese food and 100% natural hot spring, even at reasonable prices.

  • A small hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) with 7 rooms and 80 years of history

  • Yamadaya Ryokan (Japanese inn) is a small hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) with 80 years of history and a total of 7 rooms. It is located about 25 minutes by bus from JR Iiyama Station. The bath is 100% natural hot spring with calcium and sodium sulfate water that is effective for gastrointestinal disorders and poor circulation. Meals are served in the room and include pork steak.

  • A nostalgic, purely Japanese style

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that was founded over 80 years ago. The building is a nostalgic, purely Japanese style, and the pine tree in front of the entrance is very atmospheric and instagrammable. The hot spring water is drawn directly from the source in Asakama. There is one simple indoor bath, but I was able to enjoy the high-quality water that 100% natural hot spring.

  • Located in the center of Nozawa Onsen town, 25 minutes by bus from Iiyama Station on Hokuriku Shinkansen line.

  • Yamadaya Ryokan (Japanese inn) is located in the center of Nozawa Onsen town, and can be reached in 25 minutes by bus from Iiyama Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen line. The hot springs in the inn are 100% natural hot spring, so your body will be warm even after you get out of the bath. There are seven guest rooms, all of which are Japanese-style rooms where you can relax, and kotatsu tables are provided in the winter. Dinner is a creative kaiseki meal made with locally produced ingredients, and you can enjoy dishes such as alpine beef, Miyuki pork, wild vegetables, mushrooms, and Shinshu salmon.

  • This inn is close to Shosendo, a local restaurant famous for its delicious hot spring buns!

  • If you're looking for delicious sweets in Nozawa Onsen, I recommend checking out Shosendo. This shop sells delicious hot spring manju, which is also recommended by local inns. They also sell cakes, which are available for takeout, so I recommend returning to the hotel and enjoying them in your room. I chose Yamadaya Ryokan (Japanese inn) because it was within walking distance of Shosendo. It's one of the few wooden Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Nozawa Onsen, and although it's old, the atmosphere is quite nice.
