「名湯の宿 鳴子ホテル」は鳴子温泉駅から歩いて５分の、創業140余年を誇る老舗宿です。3本の自家源泉があり、館内にはとても広々とした大浴場、露天風呂があり、源泉かけ流しの温泉が楽しめます。貸切風呂もあるので、プライベートな入浴も可能です。客室は落ち着いた和室で、窓が大きく開口されており、山里ののどかな風景が楽しめます。露天足湯が付いた客室に泊まると、足湯に入りながら景色が楽しめるので、気持ちがよいですよ。夕食はみちのくバイキングで、地元のならではの田舎料理がたっぷり楽しめます。

こちらにある「こけしの湯」という貸切風呂は、15名まで利用可能な非常に大きなお風呂であるため、ご家族でもゆったりと入ることが出来ます。お食事もバイキング形式で目の前で調理をしてくれるなど、非常におすすめです。

白濁の温泉で貸切風呂もありました。こちらは貸切風呂とは思えないほど大きな温泉で広々とした大風呂でゆっくりとした気分を味わえます。メインの大浴場の他にも多種のお風呂があり、楽しいです。食事はヘルシーですが、どれもおいしくて満足です！

This is a 140-year-old hotel that represents Naruko Onsen, so I highly recommend it. Naruko Hotel is the only place where you can enjoy hot spring water from three sources. The thick, serum-like hot spring water was amazing. It is not completely barrier-free, but it is a hotel that is considerate of the elderly, with wheelchairs available for rental and handrails in the large communal bath.

In the Tohoku region, Naruko Gorge in Miyagi Prefecture is covered in beautiful autumn leaves and is Breathtaking view. I recommend the nearby Naruko Hotel. It is a long-established hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that was founded 140 years ago. It is about a 3-minute walk from JR Naruko Onsen Station. It has the largest bathtub in the Naruko Onsen area and also has a variety of open-air baths with different themes. It is interesting to see how the color of the hot spring water changes subtly depending on the outside air and humidity. The food Buffet was very satisfying, with plenty of local dishes such as salt-grilled sweetfish and local sake. There are many tourist spots around the hotel, such as Naruko Onsen Shrine and the dam, so we enjoyed it thoroughly.

高齢の方と一緒に鳴子温泉に行かれるのでしたら、「鳴子ホテル」をおすすめします。ご予算に近い金額で泊まれますよ。通路は広くて手すりやスロープの設備もあります。

This inn boasts 140 years of history in the historic Naruko Onsen. It is located in the center of the hot spring town, just a 3-minute walk from JR Naruko Onsen Station, making it easily accessible. The hotel has three different hot springs on its grounds, and we were able to enjoy six baths. One stop west of Naruko Onsen, after passing through a tunnel, Naruko Gorge appears, with its dazzling autumn foliage. It is said to be the largest in the Tohoku region due to its scale.

鳴子温泉エリアでも最もバリアフリーに配慮したお宿です。完全バリアフリーではないものの、段差スロープや大浴場の手摺りなどがあります。また、部屋食、食堂とも椅子を準備可能です(予約が必要)。家族風呂も1部で対応していますので、プライベートを重視している方は重宝します。

It is about an hour and a half by car from Yamagata Airport or Sendai Airport. If you take the train, it is easily accessible from JR Naruto Onsen Station. It is located on the mountain side of Miyagi Prefecture, so it is a snowy area. At Naruko Hotel, you can enjoy hot springs from three different sources. The main public bath is very large and looks like a pool. There are also various open-air baths and private baths where you can enjoy the hot springs.

There was a foot bath in the guest room, so I was able to relax while looking at the mountain village scenery. As you can imagine from the smell of sulfur around the inn, the quality of the hot spring water is excellent. We had breakfast and dinner at the buffet, and were very satisfied with the variety of dishes at dinner. There was a wide variety of sushi and sashimi, and the melon dessert was very sweet. I think both adults and children will be satisfied.

硫黄の香る自慢の温泉はとろとろの肌ざわりです。源泉掛け流しの温泉は、外気や湿度によってお湯の色が様々な色に変化し、手すり付きなので安全に入れます。新鮮な海と旬の山の幸をたっぷり盛り込んだ和会席はお部屋でも召し上がれます。ご高齢の方も気軽に利用できる宿です。

温かみのある木が使われた客室は過ごしやすく、とくに露天の足湯が付いた客室に泊る小野がおすすめです。モダンな和洋室で、年齢関係なくご家族みなさんにご満足いただけるかと思います。お風呂の種類もたくさんあって、スーパー銭湯のようになっています。泉質に関しては、鳴子の源泉かけ流しですので、この点もオススメできるポイントです。

I don't remember the details, but I think the hotel was spacious and easy for elderly people to stay in, with steps in the rooms, and the size and height of the washrooms and toilets. The quality of the spring water in the bath was also very good, and there were handrails in the large public bath. The restaurant also had spacious seating, and the food was well-prepared. When I told them in advance that there was something I couldn't eat, they were able to change it to a different menu, and when I asked to eat at a chair, they changed it from in-room dining, so they were very accommodating to my requests. The buffet seems to be popular as well. The staff were very friendly, and I had the impression that I was able to relax for the price. Although I didn't use it, the private open-air bath seems to be popular as well.

This is a representative hotel in Naruko Onsen, and they also put a lot of effort into making it barrier-free. There is a wheelchair ramp at the entrance, and you can enter the lobby without any steps. The dining area also has space for wheelchairs, and if you would like to eat in your room, they will accommodate you if you apply in advance. The baths are barrier-free, with handrails and private baths available for a fee. Prices vary depending on the season, but if you use Buffet plan, you can enjoy a meal for less than 10,000 yen.
