Nozawa Onsen Nozawa Grand Hotel

8888 Toyosato, Nozawa-Onsenmura, Shimotakai-gun

  • A hotel with great hot springs and kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )

  • The view from the open-air bath is outstanding. I was able to enjoy the hot springs at a leisurely pace while looking down on the hot spring town of Nozawa. The private open-air bath was located far independent guest cottages, so it felt like I was in the middle of nature. The meals used many local ingredients. They were carefully prepared and very elegantly seasoned.

  • Overlooking Nozawa Onsen Town

  • A tourist hotel located independent guest cottages from the Nozawa Onsen district in Nagano, Japan, the hot spring baths, which utilize three different sources, refreshed us from the fatigue of our travels. The food, including roasted Shinshu beef, was delicious and made use of local ingredients.

  • The food is delicious

  • If you are in Nozawa Onsenkyo, we recommend the Nozawa Grand Hotel. It is not a cheap inn, but considering the room and meals, it is reasonable enough. The hot spring has three different sources. The cuisine is based on local cuisine, and you could choose Japanese-style kaiseki and other dishes besides your favorite.

  • Nice atmosphere.

  • I used the open-air bath and it was very nice with muddy water and strong sulfur. The hot water in the room was good, but I would like to go back to that open-air bath. All the staff were very kind and explained everything to us in a way that was easy to understand. The food was so plentiful that I couldn't eat my rice, but they made onigiri (rice balls) for me so I could have them for dinner.

  • Overlooking the hot spring resort

  • We recommend the Nozawa Grand Hotel. It is a lovely hotel with a particularly scenic view in Nozawa Onsen town. The hotel is located at a height overlooking the hot spring resort, so the view and atmosphere from the open-air bath are exceptional. Some rooms have an open-air bath attached to them. The meals are also delicious, with delicate dishes that make use of seasonal ingredients. The atmosphere is also very nice.

  • Private open-air bath in a natural setting

  • This is a large hotel located on a hill in the hot spring resort area. We recommend the private open-air bath. The baths are located outside the hotel on a hillside, and offer a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape that can be a bit unsettling. There are also plenty of restaurants and stores, so there is no shortage of options as a sightseeing base.

Nozawa Onsen Ryokan Sakaya

9329, Toyosato, Nozawaonsen-mura Shimotakai-Gun

  • The large bathhouse is built in the traditional style by a master carpenter.

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in the center of the hot spring town. You can enjoy Nozawa Onsen, which has long been known for its skin-beautifying waters, in the large public bath, a traditional building constructed by a master carpenter, and the adjacent open-air bath. The inn's proud creative cuisine is a masterpiece that uses an abundance of nutritious mountain and river produce from Oku-Shinano, and you can enjoy the flavors of Shinshu along with the finest local sake.

  • Nozawa Onsen Inn with a great atmosphere

  • This is the famous Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Nozawa Onsen. While there are many small-scale accommodations such as minshuku, this is a splendid and luxurious inn with a hot spring. Nozawa Onsen Sennin Buro No Yado Tokiwaya Ryokan

9347 Toyosato, Nozawa-Onsenmura, Shimotakai-gun

  • A historic Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Nozawa

  • This traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) was founded 380 years ago. It's conveniently located next to the bus terminal. The recommended thing about this inn is the large public bath. There are hot springs of various temperatures. The interior of the building has a retro, nostalgic atmosphere. It's relatively close to the gondola, so you can enjoy the mountain scenery.

Nozawa Onsen Hotel

7923-3 Toyosato, Nozawa Onsen-mura, Shimotakai-gun

  • Convenient location for touring soto-yu (public bathhouses)

  • "Nozawa Onsen Hotel" was good. There is a cypress open-air bath and a private open-air bath. The cypress bath is lit up at night and is very relaxing. There are also rooms with nice open-air baths. The location is good, so it is convenient for touring soto-yu (public bathhouses). A room for two people costs about 15,000 yen per person, including two meals. Another reason I would like to recommend it is that the price is relatively reasonable.
