We chose the plan with a private open-air bath for our anniversary trip. It was so luxurious to enjoy the hot spring anytime while overlooking the beautiful river view without worrying about other guests. Although dinner was served in the dining hall, the Kaiseki dinner, made with seasonal ingredients, was truly gourmet and elegant. It was the ultimate Japanese retreat—perfect for couples seeking privacy, great food, and a relaxing soak.

The price of the accommodation varies depending on the date and the room. The cheapest price here is about 15,000 yen per person for one night with two meals. You can stay in a special room in the main building or in the annex for less than 30,000 yen. All rooms have an open-air bath. There are Japanese-style Japanese and Western room and Japanese-Western style rooms, and sofas and massage chairs are also available. The hot spring has an indoor bath and a large public bath, and you can bathe while drinking sake. Dinner is creative Japanese cuisine in a semi-private dining room. Although there are few buses, if you book in advance, a free shuttle bus is available from Seibu Chichibu Station. The building feels old, but it has been renovated and the inside is clean. As a new hotel that opened in 2023, its main appeal is that it's within walking distance of the Chichibu Shrine area, the festival's main venue. It's also perfect for those traveling by train, as it's only about a 6-minute walk from Chichibu Station on the Chichibu Railway. This is one of the chain's higher-grade "Grand" hotels, offering premium services, including a natural hot spring.

If you stay at a hotel near Omiya Station, you can easily walk to Hikawa Shrine. On the top floor of the hotel, there is the Sky Spa, which features an open-air bath where you can gaze at the starry sky, offering a slightly extraordinary experience.

It has a luxurious entrance, a large natural hot spring bath, a welcome bar, and is well-cleaned, so I had a comfortable stay. There are various types of rooms, including rooms on floors for women only and rooms with projectors. It's a popular chain hotel, so reception desk was friendly, and the breakfast Buffet was of high quality, with both Western and Japanese food, so I was overall satisfied. It's in the city center, but the price was relatively reasonable.
