This is a luxury Ryokan (Japanese inn) that costs over 30,000 yen per night. The rooms with open-air baths are 12.5 tatami mat rooms, 5 tatami mat rooms, and a reception room. The open-air bath attached to the room is large enough for two adults to bathe comfortably. For meals, we had kaiseki cuisine in our room, mainly seafood, due to the local nature of the place.

At Furuya Ryokan (Japanese inn), the baths in the guest rooms and the inn are all fed from the same hot spring source. The open-air baths in the rooms are also made with natural hot spring water, so no water is added and the temperature is adjusted with a rolling pin. The amount of water can be adjusted with the faucet. When you turn it on, the hot spring water comes out. There are several courses for the kaiseki cuisine, but it is well within your budget. Just like the baths, they place great importance on the freshness of the ingredients and the timing of their meat and fish.

An inn with a large private open-air bath for two

南熱海に有る、県道を挟んで目の前に海が有る全22室のこじんまりとした宿。源泉掛け流しの展望貸切露天風呂が４つ有り、どこからも相模湾が一望出来た。遠くに初島が見える風光明媚な景色を臨める。掛け流しなので、24時間何時でも入浴出来る。この他、別棟には、庭園風貸切露天風呂に内湯が併設された浴槽が３つ有る。また、貸切のサウナも有る。食事は夕食の懐石は5種類以上の刺身の舟盛と高級食材海山の幸が並ぶ豪華な料理である。朝は和食膳だが、定番の料理に地元食材を使った料理、釜揚げシラスや櫻海老の佃煮等のご飯の進むおかずでおかわりは止まらない。予算が3万円以上だと露天風呂付客室に宿泊出来るが、大体部屋の露天風呂は狭い。二人入るのはキツキツなので、貸切風呂の多い宿がおすすめ。

There is free table tennis, colorful yukata rentals, and karaoke and massage machines are available for a fee. For dinner, there is often an open kitchen, so you can eat tempura and steak while they are still hot. There are also many desserts and soft drinks. Breakfast is a Japanese and Western Buffet, and the katte-don, boiled whitebait, and seafood are irresistible. You can never have enough rice.
