道後温泉で老舗の旅館といえば、創業390年の「ふなや」という旅館で、日本人でも一度は泊まってみたい憧れのホテルです。ふなやは道後温泉本館よりも古い江戸時代に創業していて、昭和天皇をはじめとして日本の有名人が多く宿泊しています。せっかく日本に来て泊まるなら和室の部屋がおすすめで、7階、8階のクラブフロア（特別室）に泊まると、部屋のお風呂は湯舟が檜でできていて、道後温泉のお湯を引いてきています。もちろん大浴場もあるのですが、人前で裸になるのが苦手なら、お庭に足湯もあります。道後温泉は食事処も多いですが、ふなやの夕食は和食、洋食とおにトップレベルの料理人やシェフによるものなので、ぜひ食事付きで泊まってください！

おすすめは「道後舘」です。こちらのホテルの魅力は内装です。館内を江戸の町並みに見立てていてタイムスリップした気分。にぎやかな町の情緒が聞こえてきそうです。お食事は「松山でしか食べられないもの」がコンセンプトで、松山の名産物を取り入れたお料理がいただけます。温泉に入りたいなら露天風呂付きの客室に泊まるのをお勧めします。移動の手間もなく、ゆっくりと温泉に入れます。

展望大浴場で松山城を見ながら道後温泉の湯にはいれる！

ホテル古湧園 遥で過ごすのはいかがでしょうか。宿泊者専用のエレベーターで行ける展望大浴場は、道後温泉本館だけでなく松山城も眺めることができて絶景です。大浴場が苦手なら貸切風呂もあります。

The freshly picked local vegetable salad for breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh local vegetables and fruits. It was interesting to have a faucet serving Pon Juice at the front desk. Also, the rental of Imabari towels for hot spring was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was able to spend a comfortable night in Dogo.

せっかく松山までいらっしゃるなら是非、道後温泉に泊まってください。おすすめの宿は「大和屋本店」です。道後温泉本館の目と鼻の先です。まったく荷物を持たずに温泉に向かうことができますよ。御料理は瀬戸内の新鮮な海の幸です。

All in all there is nothing to say.

The bath, food, rooms, and service were all excellent. The bath was spacious and clean. The food was delicious and there was so much I couldn't finish it. The room was also clean. It's also close to the Botchan bath. There is an indoor bath, but if you come to Dogo, you have to take a bath in the Botchan bath (Dogo Onsen Main Building). It's just a short walk away.
