We recommend the Yuzawa New Otani. There is a shuttle bus to get to GALA Yuzawa during the winter, which is convenient. There are many types of rooms, including standard Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, connecting rooms that can accommodate large groups, and barrier-free rooms. There are many fun things to do inside the building, such as facilities for the ski season, a shop, and a table tennis corner. There is also a spacious large bath, a jacuzzi bath, and a Japanese-style open-air bath. There is also a private cypress bath, so you can enjoy the hot springs at your leisure in a private space.

The Takasu Snow Park ski resort is located about 30 minutes by car from the inn. It is one of the largest in western Japan, boasting 13 courses and a 4,900m long course, which is popular. The hot spring is a privately-sourced spring, and you can enjoy a pleasant bath in the large public bath or open-air bath. For meals, you can enjoy kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）incorporating the bounty of Hida and seafood.

This hotel is located about 15 minutes by free shuttle bus from Echigo Yuzawa Station. There are large public baths and several open-air baths, so you can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content. The rooms range from standard Japanese-style rooms and Western-style rooms to concept rooms for families. We had Buffet for both breakfast and dinner, and the venue was spacious, there was a wide menu, and everything was delicious. There was also a restaurant where you could enjoy a Japanese course meal.

It is close to Hirayu Onsen Ski Resort in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture. You can bathe in a cypress bath with Hirayu Onsen's 100% natural hot spring. The hot spring at this inn contains a lot of baking soda, and is known as a "Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty)" that softens old keratin. It is a 3-minute drive to Hirayu Onsen Ski Resort, or a 10-minute bus and walk away, so it is easily accessible. There are only Japanese-style rooms, and some rooms have a 100% natural hot spring hot spring. The dinner is all about Hida beef, and it is great to be able to drink alcohol while eating grilled Hida beef sushi.

GALA湯沢から車で５分とアクセスの良い宿です。電車で移動したい場合は50分くらいです。石打丸山スキー場にとても近いので、ここでも存分にスノボを楽しめます。特薦地元食材や家製魚沼産コシヒカリをつかったお料理はどれもとても美味しくて充実しています。あまり知られていないようですが、その分穴場で恋人同士、落ち着いて過ごすことができると思います。スキー場で濡れたウェアを乾燥できる乾燥室や、スキー板・スノボー板をお手入れできるメンテナンススペースもあります。

I'd like to introduce a rather interesting hotel. Tajimakan is located in Hida Onsen, and you will be greeted by a muscular young owner. The Honokidaira Ski Resort is about 30 minutes away by car or bus. Hirayu Onsen Ski Resort is also about 10 minutes away by car or 20 minutes by bus. Tajimakan offers hot springs that draw from two different sources. They are particular about their health, such as controlling the quality of the hot springs and using an original blend of miso that is served with meals, and they even have something called a "muscle drink"! This is a recommended inn for those who want to do a lot of skiing.

We recommend "Yukiguni no Yado Takahan," located about a 10-minute walk from GALA Yuzawa. This historic inn is famous for being the place where Yasunari Kawabata wrote Snow Country. The room in which he wrote the novel has been preserved as it was, and can be visited. You can also relax in the large public bath and open-air bath, surrounded by nature and 100% natural hot spring.

"Yuzawa Toei Hotel" is conveniently located just a short walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station. The large open-air bath at Oiwa is very spacious and open, and you can enjoy the snow. You can also get to GALA Yuzawa by shuttle bus, or use the Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway, which is right next to the hotel, to access the Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort.

The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute drive from the Takasu Snow Park ski resort. This is a recommended inn for those who want to enjoy hot springs on a ski trip. Two meals are included, and there is a wide variety of rich dishes such as Hida beef Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）and grilled Spanish mackerel with Japanese pepper, making it a luxurious stay. The hot spring has a beautiful large bath, and you can relax and soak in the refreshing water, enjoying nature and healing.

I stayed here in the winter. The inside of the building was very clean. As it is a hot spring town, the hot springs were available even at night. There was a garden bath and a cypress bath, each with its own charm. You can also enjoy a leisurely soak in the indoor and outdoor baths, which are both private and 100% natural hot spring. It is a cold place, so I was grateful to be shown to a warm room when I returned after going out at night. Since I was staying overnight, I ate at restaurants and izakayas in the area. It was nice that there were delicious restaurants nearby.

The hotel is recommended because it is located just 2 minutes from Echigo Yuzawa Station. There is a shuttle bus that runs from the station area to Gala Yuzawa, which is convenient. The rooms are a little old and have a sense of history, but they are sufficient for an overnight stay.
