We recommend the Yuzawa New Otani. There is a shuttle bus to get to GALA Yuzawa during the winter, which is convenient. There are many types of rooms, including standard Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, connecting rooms that can accommodate large groups, and barrier-free rooms. There are many fun things to do inside the building, such as facilities for the ski season, a shop, and a table tennis corner. There is also a spacious large bath, a jacuzzi bath, and a Japanese-style open-air bath. There is also a private cypress bath, so you can enjoy the hot springs at your leisure in a private space.

宿から車で30分ほどの所にスキー場の「高鷲スノーパーク」があります。西日本最大級の広大なスケールを誇り13本のコースと4,900ｍもあるロングコースが人気です。温泉は自家源泉掛け流しで大浴場や露天風呂で気持ちよく湯あみできます。食事は飛騨の幸と海の幸を取り入れた会席料理が味わえます。

越後湯沢駅から無料シャトルバスで約15分のところにあるホテルです。大浴場と露天風呂が数か所あって、存分に温泉を堪能できます。客室はスタンダードの和室・洋室からファミリー向けのコンセプトルームもありました。食事は朝食と夕食ともにバイキングにしましたが、会場が広くてメニューも多くてどれも美味しかったです。他には和食のコースをいただける食事処もありました。

岐阜県高山の「平湯温泉スキー場」に近いです。平湯温泉の源泉かけ流しの総ヒノキの湯船に入れます。この宿の温泉は重曹成分を多く含んでいて、古い角質を柔らかくしてくれる「美人の湯」。「平湯温泉スキー場」までは車で3分、バスと徒歩で10分くらいの距離なのでアクセスが良いです。部屋は和室のみで、源泉かけ流し温泉付きの客室もあります。飛騨牛づくしの夕飯で、飛騨牛あぶり寿司を食べながらお酒が飲めるのは最高です。

The inn is easily accessible, just a 5-minute drive from GALA Yuzawa. If you want to travel by train, it takes about 50 minutes. It's very close to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort, so you can enjoy snowboarding here as well. The dishes, which use specially recommended local ingredients and home-made Uonuma Koshihikari rice, are all very delicious and filling. It doesn't seem to be well-known, but that makes it a great place partner to relax and spend time together. There is also a drying room where you can dry your wet clothes at the ski resort, and a maintenance space where you can take care of your skis and snowboards.

ちょっと面白いホテルを紹介します。田島館は飛騨温泉にあるのですが、マッチョな若旦那が迎えてくれます。車やバスで30分ほどで行ける範囲に「ほおのき平スキー場」があります。「平湯温泉スキー場」も車で10分、バスで20分くらいの距離にあります。田島館では2種類の源泉をひいた温泉に入れます。温泉の品質管理、食事で出てくる味噌はオリジナルブレンドだったりと健康に関してこだわりがあり、「筋肉ドリンク」というものまであります！がっつりスキーをしたい、という方におすすめな宿です。

We recommend "Yukiguni no Yado Takahan," located about a 10-minute walk from GALA Yuzawa. This historic inn is famous for being the place where Yasunari Kawabata wrote Snow Country. The room in which he wrote the novel has been preserved as it was, and can be visited. You can also relax in the large public bath and open-air bath, surrounded by nature and 100% natural hot spring.

"Yuzawa Toei Hotel" is conveniently located just a short walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station. The large open-air bath at Oiwa is very spacious and open, and you can enjoy the snow. You can also get to GALA Yuzawa by shuttle bus, or use the Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway, which is right next to the hotel, to access the Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort.

ホテルからスキー場「高鷲スノーパーク」まで車で10分くらいとアクセスが便利です。スキー旅行で温泉を満喫する旅にお勧めの宿です。二食付きで飛騨牛のしゃぶしゃぶ、さわら山椒焼きなど深みのある料理が豊富で贅沢です。温泉はキレイな大浴場が備わっていて、さっぱりとしたお湯でリラックスして浸かれて、自然と一緒に楽しめて癒されました。

I stayed here in the winter. The inside of the building was very clean. As it is a hot spring town, the hot springs were available even at night. There was a garden bath and a cypress bath, each with its own charm. You can also enjoy a leisurely soak in the indoor and outdoor baths, which are both private and 100% natural hot spring. It is a cold place, so I was grateful to be shown to a warm room when I returned after going out at night. Since I was staying overnight, I ate at restaurants and izakayas in the area. It was nice that there were delicious restaurants nearby.

越後湯沢駅から２分ほどの立地がお勧めのポイント。駅周辺からガーラ湯沢へは、シャトルバスが運行しているので便利です。客室に関しては、若干の古さ、歴史は感じられるものの、宿泊には必要十分です。様々な浴場があって、館内で湯めぐりができて温泉を満喫できます。
