As for the hot spring, "Genroku no Yu" is a bathhouse with a high ceiling and a slightly Western-style "high-collar" feel that you have never seen anywhere else.

The inn has a tasteful glass-walled large indoor bath and a private open-air bath, where you can soak in the hot spring while looking out at the garden. Dinner is kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with locally produced ingredients, and the delicious dishes include Tajima beef and, in winter, crab.

This is a long-established hot spring inn in Nozawa Onsen, and we recommend it because it has an open-air bath in the room where the water 100% natural hot spring. For meals, we enjoyed local delicacies such as Shinshu beef steak, horse sashimi, and Nagano's specialty Nozawana pickles. The hot spring also has a private open-air bath, so it's also recommended for a hot spring trip with friends.

きらびやかな豪華さはありませんが、歴史を感じさせる旅館です。決して伝統に甘えることなく、従業員の方も温かく親切で、応対は丁寧です。また、建物は古いですが掃除は行き届いていて違和感はありません。伊香保の石段の周辺がレトロですが、まさにこの横手館と石段街とあわさって、レトロの粋です。

玄関やロビーが昔の日本にいるかのような感じでレトロな雰囲気です。４つの大浴場があり中でも檜造り大浴場はとても広く城崎屈指の広さを誇ります。落ち着いた和室でゆっくりくつろげます。

日本秘湯を守る会の会員宿であり、古民家を移築したお宿はレトロな雰囲気満点です。囲炉裏端には熊の皮の敷物に腰掛け、食事はいろりを囲んでいただきます。お風呂は自家源泉から引かれたかけ流し。湯量たっぷりのお湯をぜいたくに味わいつつ、木造の内湯と露天にゆったりつかると、なんだか自然と一体となったような心地よさを感じられます。付近には白川郷や小京都・高山もありますし、なんと言っても飛騨牛の産地ですので、観光やグルメなど一度にいろいろと楽しめるのもお薦めの点です。

なかなか伝統のある鎌先温泉の中でも、一番お勧めしたい「最上屋旅館」。純和風の木のぬくもり漂う素敵な宿です。館内のあちらこちらに、いろりや、かご、昔の道具や飾りがあり、懐かしい気持ちにさせられます。食事も、畳のお部屋にテーブル席でいただく、手の込んだ美味しい一品が次々運ばれます。私が宿泊したときは、雪が降る寒い日で（雪もまた厳かで良いのですが）、私が咳をしていたもので、スタッフの方が、寒くないですか？風邪薬はご入り用ではないですか？と気にかけてくださいました。お風呂は、あまり広くなく、古さも雅な感じではないですが、レトロ感はありますし、泉質が良いです！お値段も、土日でもリーズナブルに宿泊できます。

The meals were kaiseki kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal ingredients, and we were able to enjoy our meals without feeling rushed. It's perfect for enjoying a leisurely trip.

昭和2年創業の古き良き時代の温泉リゾート。宿泊できる施設が4つほどありますが、1番レトロな雰囲気を楽しめるのがこちらの「佳松園」になります。お風呂はどの建物のものも入れるので、湯めぐりしてみるのもまた一興。予約制ではありますが、新花巻駅から無料送迎バスもあります。

I went there on a family trip with my parents and children. It is a very tasteful inn in the middle of nature. I remember very well the dinner where we enjoyed the aroma of bamboo while drinking sake, which was warmed in a bamboo tube. It was very moving to see fireflies flying around to welcome us when we went to the hot spring. Everything about Ryokan (Japanese inn) made us forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax. It was a memorable hot spring inn, and I definitely recommend you to visit.

This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that was founded over 80 years ago. The building is a nostalgic, purely Japanese style, and the pine tree in front of the entrance is very atmospheric and instagrammable. The hot spring water is drawn directly from the source in Asakama. There is one simple indoor bath, but I was able to enjoy the high-quality water that 100% natural hot spring.

長野県の白骨温泉をおすすめします。混浴の露天風呂は白濁でお湯の中が見えないので、家族で楽しめます。部屋のなかにも温泉の香りが漂っていますので、硫黄臭が苦手の方にはおすすめできませんが、夕食も美味しく囲炉裏端でいただけるのでレトロな雰囲気にピッタリです。
