In winter, you can enjoy a kaiseki meal of Echizen local crabs and abalone caught in Fukui Prefecture. In addition to seafood, you can also enjoy Japanese black beef and delicious mountain delicacies. On Rakuten Travel, the plan with dinner and breakfast is a bit expensive, starting at around 30,000 yen per person, but it is high class and will not disappoint.

This inn has a long history, having been established in 1884 (Meiji 17), and offers several recommended plans where you can eat delicious seafood. You can also enjoy the abundant natural hot spring water that gushes out from the hotel's own sodium chloride spring in the covered open-air bath and large bath. There is also a private bath that you can enjoy just the two of you and your mother. As for food, you can eat kaiseki cuisine that uses plenty of seasonal ingredients from the local Echizen region, such as crab stew (fried Chinese cabbage and radish). In particular, the delicious seafood dishes from Fukui, such as yellowtail shabu-shabu, squid sashimi, and salt-grilled sweet shrimp, are exquisite.

Located in the center of Yuzawa Onsen town, it is highly recommended for its location, which makes it easy to visit the hot springs and eat your way around! It is also a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station, making it easily accessible. We enjoyed visiting the hot springs in independent guest cottages building, which is filled with garden atmosphere. There is also an open-air bath. For meals, we had a delicious Buffet made with carefully selected ingredients in the restaurant, which also has a live kitchen.

Of the three types of rooms with outdoor baths (with outdoor hot spring bath, with outdoor hot spring bath in garden, and with half outdoor bath), the room with outdoor hot spring bath in garden is recommended. The refrigerator in this room is stocked with welcome drinks such as beer, coffee, and orange juice. After bathing in the outdoor bath, it is nice to sit on a chair on the terrace and look at the Japanese garden. There are times when you can drink welcome drinks such as soft drinks and beer in the lounge, and many people seem to drink a cup while eating the hot spring eggs that can be made for free. With the room-dining or private room plan, you can choose a Japanese kaiseki course or Wakasa beef shabu-shabu course with a menu of seasonal vegetables, matsutake mushroom earthenware pot, and specially grilled Wakasa beef Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）. With the standard plan, both meals are buffets.

Take the Ugo Kotsu bus bound for Nyuto Onsen and get off at the Kyuka Mura bus stop to reach this hotel. There are trees all around and the air is fresh. This hotel focuses on food, and you can enjoy all-you-can-eat Akita specialties. There are two types of baths, and you can also enjoy the hot springs.

Awara Onsen Grand Hotel is a hot spring inn where you can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content, boasting its own hot spring source. The hot spring has two private hot springs with abundant water, and you can bathe in seven hot springs, including a large public bath and an open-air bath. There is also a private open-air bath available, making it ideal for couples. There are also rooms with open-air baths, and for dinner, you can enjoy a menu centered around local ingredients from Fukui.

The home of Echizen crab is Mikuni Onsen, located in Tojinbo, Fukui Prefecture. This place has a great view and offers a full course meal of tagged Echizen crab, including crab sashimi, fragrant grilled crab, and crab Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）. It is extremely fresh and delicious. There is also an open-air bath with an ocean view, so it should meet your needs.

This inn has a karaoke room, so I recommend it. After enjoying the Wakura hot springs and a meal, you can enjoy karaoke with your family. There is a private open-air bath with a view of the ocean. I recommend it because you can enjoy the hot springs with just your family without worrying about others.

The recommended season is winter, when soaking in the milky white water while watching the snow is the best. It is popular, so you need to make a bath to view the snow early. There don't seem to be many shops nearby, so be sure to bring all the amenities you need.

How about Matsuya Sensen? You can enjoy seafood caught in Fukui. It is located about 15 minutes from Kanazu IC. There is a large open-air bath and a large communal bath. The sodium chloride spring water warms you up very well. The first floor is open in the morning and you can purchase fresh seafood as souvenirs.

It's a 6-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. It's along a main road, so you won't get lost. When I checked in, the person next to me was checking in in English, so I think English is understandable. There were many foreign guests. The room had a bedroom, a bath, a toilet, and a sink. There was a bathtub in the room, and it was easy to use because it was separate from the toilet. However, there is no changing room, so you need to be a little careful if you are using it with someone other than your family. The bed was also perfect for a woman to use alone. There was a table and two chairs in the room, so I had no trouble eating things I bought at the market at the hotel.

Wild snow monkey park and a 15-minute bus ride from Yudanaka Station. There is also a free shuttle from the station. The hot spring has a dynamic open-air bath that boasts the largest amount of water in Nagano Prefecture, and will warm you to the core during the cold winter. There is also a private cypress bath and open-air bath, so you can enjoy a private space. For meals, you can warm yourself up with local cuisine that uses plenty of Nagano Prefecture's mountain produce and Shinshu brand meat.

This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with natural hot springs. The hot spring is a simple sulfur spring with many beneficial effects, and you can enjoy a pleasant bath while looking at the Echigo mountain range. For dinner, we had a traditional banquet of local cuisine made with plenty of local ingredients, and we also enjoyed Echigo Mochi Pork and Niigata Wagyu Beef.
