This resort hotel is popular for its free-flowing open-air baths and Shinshu local cuisine in Nozawa Onsen. You can also enjoy the hot springs from the open-air observation baths overlooking the hot spring town of Nozawa and the beautiful starry sky, the tatami baths (large observation baths) that are rare in the prefecture and have a spectacular Breathtaking view of the hot spring town and mountains, and the private open-air baths (Hyakuban Kannon married couple Baths) surrounded by greenery. As for meals, you can eat kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using Shinshu premium beef and Shinshu salmon. The specially ordered dishes such as trout and seasonal vegetable tempura, horse sashimi, and Shinshu premium beef stone-grilled are particularly delicious.

This hot spring inn faces the Kinugawa Valley. The open-air bath along the Kinugawa River has a nice view, and when it's quiet you can hear the murmuring of the river. The rooms are pure Japanese-style rooms with a good view of the hot spring town. The rooms are 8 tatami mat Japanese-style rooms with a wide veranda.

清里高原のホテルがいいと思います。標高が高いところにあり、清里高原は空気が澄んでいて明かりが少ない環境なので、きれいな星空を観察することができます。こちら清里高原ホテルは天文台が設置されているホテルです。望遠鏡でも天の川を見ることができるのでおすすめです。

秀峰館の１３階に有る「空中庭園露天風呂」は鬼怒川では一番の高台に有る。外気が程良く身体に当たり、寝湯から見える空は正に満天の星空だ。船風呂、寝湯、立湯が有る。また、別に二つの大浴場が有り、それぞれに男性用と女性用が有り、ジャグジーバスやドライサウナが有る。女性にはナノミストサウナも有る。また、浴場内にはシャンプーバーも有り、好みのシャンプーやコンディショナーを利用出来るのは、女性には特に嬉しい。食事は大変豪華だ。朝夕食ビュッフェスタイルだが、夕食は100種類の和洋中バイキング料理で、オープンキッチンも多いので、出来立てを熱い内に食べられる。朝は和洋60種類もの料理が並ぶ。

電車とバスを乗り継いで上高地へ行きましょう！山小屋風のホテルで、上高地のシンボルである河童橋のすぐ前にあります。スターウォッチングをはじめとした、いろいろな自然ガイドツアーがホテル周辺で行われます。ガイドさんと共に歩くので安全だし、いい場所から星空を観察できます。私が行った時はよく晴れていて、どれが天の川かわからないほどたくさんの星を見ることができました。人工衛星も見えましたよ。女性一人でも安心だと思います。

You can see the beautiful Milky Way from any accommodation in the Furano area. If possible, avoid the city area and choose an area with a better view. If that's your criteria, we recommend Highland Furano, which also has a lavender garden and natural hot springs. It's within walking distance from Shimanoshita Station, and there's also a bus from Furano Station.

It's not a very large hotel, but the open-air baths are amazing! There are three of them. You can enjoy the hot springs to the fullest, including the rare open-air bath in a houseboat, the garden bath with a view of the Nio statue, and the large Mixed-Gender Hot Springs with a view of the Kinugawa River below. Meals are standard, but you can check in early and have fish you catch yourself (rainbow trout, rock char) from the fishing pond on the premises grilled for dinner.
