In winter, you can enjoy crab dishes. The standard room is a 10-tatami Japanese-style room with a view of the ocean from the window.

料理自慢の宿だけあって、標準の懐石料理でも、地元食材の海の幸で豪華な舟盛が出る。朝の和食膳も創作郷土料理でご飯の進むおかずが多くてご飯が止まらない。檜の貸切露天風呂には大きくは無いが、ゆっくりと落ち着いて入れる。雪景色を見るのであれば、個人的には箱根の方が良いだろう、と思うが。熱海では中々雪景色を見ることはできない。

This is a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) located along the mountain stream of Nikko Kinugawa Onsen. The rooms have great views, so I recommend it. Some rooms have an open-air bath. In addition to the fantastic indoor bath, there is also an open-air bath, so you can enjoy the famous hot springs of Kinugawa. For meals, we enjoyed local delicacies such as salt-grilled sweetfish and venison. In the snowy season, you can see the mountains covered in snow, which is a beautiful sight.

This hotel is located halfway up the slopes of Norikura Kogen Ski Resort, and since the surrounding temperature drops below freezing, you may be able to see diamond dust while taking a bath in the open-air bath early in the morning. The open-air hot spring is located along the valley, and it's great to spend some time listening to the sound of the river. There is also an indoor bath, but the view is amazing. Yamagatakan, which is built along the valley, has a great view of the valley and the food was also satisfying. I have been there twice so far, attracted by the quality of the hot spring.

Four adults can enjoy skiing and tennis in one room, relaxing in separate beds. There is also an open-air bath with natural hot spring water, perfect for after-skiing. The golf course is closed in winter, but there are three indoor tennis courts, so we recommend bringing your own racket and having fun.

This inn is located in Sakunami Onsen, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. There are direct flights from Naha Airport to Sendai Airport. If you take two trains from Sendai Airport, you will arrive at the nearest station. Sakunami Onsen has excellent spring quality, so you can relax after your travels. There is an open-air bath, so you can enjoy the hot spring atmosphere in the snowy mountains.

湯田中渋温泉内にあり、街全体が昭和初期のレトロあふれる温泉街である。また、この宿は、千と千尋の神隠しのモデルになった宿でもある。近くにはお猿さんが温泉につかる地獄谷温泉もあり、冬の雪景色とあわせお勧めする宿です。

It is about an hour and a half by car from Yamagata Airport or Sendai Airport. If you take the train, it is easily accessible from JR Naruto Onsen Station. It is located on the mountain side of Miyagi Prefecture, so it is a snowy area. At Naruko Hotel, you can enjoy hot springs from three different sources. The main public bath is very large and looks like a pool. There are also various open-air baths and private baths where you can enjoy the hot springs.

I recommend "La Vista Daisetsuzan" in Hokkaido. The open-air bath while watching the snow is the best. The open-air bath has Lying-down bath and a rock bath. The scent of the cypress bath in the indoor bath was very relaxing. There is also a private open-air bath, so you can feel the Hokkaido winter up close. For meals, there was French and Japanese kaiseki cuisine.

Yamanaka Onsen in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is a hot spring resort located in the mountains, about a 35-minute taxi ride from Komatsu Airport, and you can expect to see snow when you get there. From the gazebo-style open-air bath jutting out over the Daishoji River, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of nature, so on snowy days you can enjoy a wonderful silver world. There is also a private open-air bath, although you can't see much of the view. The rooms facing the mountain are quiet and have a wonderful view. For dinner, we had delicious Kaga cuisine at the restaurant.

Winter is the main season for skiing in most of this region, but this inn offers hot springs, food, drinks, and hospitality that will leave you satisfied. In the open-air bath surrounded by nature, you can enjoy the Kiso Ontake hot springs while watching the snow. The large indoor bath is also very spacious, and the scent of cypress is pleasant and soothing.

思い切って北海道の登別温泉までいかがですか。新千歳空港からはJRやバスでの移動です。ここはお料理がおいしく、焼きホタテや刺身盛り合わせ、お魚の鍋など海鮮が良かったです。小ぢんまりとした露天風呂で乳白色の温泉に浸かりながら、白い雪景色を堪能できます。貸切の露天風呂付きのお風呂もあるので、夫婦で入ることもできます。ロビーには囲炉裏があって昔の日本っぽさがあります。

Meals include mountain produce, meat and vegetables from Tochigi, and seafood delivered directly from Boso. There is also an esthetic room.

The ingredients served at Buffet are of course in season, and the menu is themed around each season, making it visually appealing. The hot spring is called the "Forest Open-Air Bath," and it feels just like you're bathing in a rock bath in the middle of the forest. As it is an open-air bath, you may be able to enjoy the starry sky and snow view on some days.
