この旅館（民宿）では、地元で採れる川魚がふるまわれます。鮭、岩魚など新鮮な魚料理と地元料理が自慢です。実はこのお宿、養魚場を営んでいるため、年中、採ったばかりの新鮮な魚がいただける訳です。野沢温泉の中心街にも徒歩ですぐ、スキー客にも利用される小さな民宿宿です。和室と和洋室のみで決して豪華さこそありませんが、広くて家族連れにはもってこいです。家族的な温かいおもてなしが嬉しい宿です。

「あけびや」の夕食は、北信州産みゆき豚の陶板焼き、信州名産馬刺し、地元の山菜や野菜を使った郷土料理などが美味しくいただけます。野沢菜は有名ですが、いもなますや根曲がりたけ、わらびのしょうが醤油はなかなかいいです。地酒もありますので楽しく食事できると思います。
