  • A Riverside Onsen in a Secluded Mountain Hideaway

  • If you prefer intimate and cozy inns, why not consider "Honke Bankyu" in Yunishigawa Onsen? This inn is tucked away deep in the mountains in a place known as the "Hidden Village of the Heike Clan," offering a truly quiet and tranquil atmosphere. The onsen baths are located right alongside a mountain stream, allowing you to soak leisurely to the sound of the babbling water. You can completely escape the noise of the city and feel truly refreshed. 1060 Ohara Kinugawaonsen

  • Charming for its Warm Hospitality and Tranquil Atmosphere

  • If you want to enjoy a traditional, relaxing atmosphere in onsen(hot spring), I recommend onsen(hot spring) Onsen Sanraku. Unlike large hotels, this place is small and cozy, and time flows at a leisurely pace inside the building. The staff are very attentive and will warmly welcome you even if you visit alone, so you can relax. The large public bath and open-air bath facing the Kinugawa River are also atmospheric and sure to soothe you.

It is truly luxurious to be able to stretch out your limbs and enjoy the hot springs of Kinugawa all to yourself, without being disturbed by anyone. • The Japanese garden is simply beautiful

  • How about "Meiseki no Yado Kagetsu" in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture? Ryokan (Japanese inn) boasts a vast Japanese garden, and in winter you can enjoy onsen(hot spring) while gazing at the snow-covered garden. The large public bath is very spacious, allowing you to relax and unwind. Dinner is a kaiseki kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal ingredients, and you can also enjoy local wine. The staff's service is excellent, allowing you to experience traditional Japanese "omotenashi" hospitality. The rooms are also spacious, allowing you to relax and unwind.

  • Relax with delicious yuba and the friendly landlady

  • The rooms are purely Japanese-style, reminiscent of my grandmother's house. The baths are available for private use in each room until 8 p.m., so you can take your time bathing alone. After 8 p.m., the baths are communal. The food is yuba, a Nikko dish! The freshly made yuba was really delicious and I thought it was good for the body. There are not many guest rooms, so I recommend it as a place to stay quietly.

This is the perfect place to relax alone.

  • An inn where you can enjoy the Kinugawa River

  • Ryokusui is about a 5-minute walk from Kinugawa Koen Station on the Tobu Kinugawa Line. It is an inn located along a mountain stream on the opposite bank of the Kinugawa River. It is a small, traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) with 18 guest rooms, where you can enjoy the hot springs of Kinugawa in a relaxed atmosphere. Please enjoy the hot springs at your leisure while gazing at the magnificent beauty of the Kinugawa River valley that spreads out before you.

  • A comfortable hotel where you can also enjoy hot springs

  • The hotel is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from the west exit of JR Echigo Yuzawa Station, and has a wide variety of room types, so you can get a better deal. The rooms are retro and relaxing, so I recommend it. Although the rooms do not have open-air baths, they do have a spacious, open-air large rock bath. At night, you can enjoy the starry sky, and in winter, you can enjoy the open-air bath with a view of the snow.
