I'm planning to go to Kinugawa Onsen by myself for a few days. Can you recommend a traditional, small, cozy inn with a relaxing atmosphere?

Saitama I live in Kumagaya and will be traveling to the Echigo-Yuzawa area, 49 minutes by Joetsu Shinkansen. I would like to stay at open-air bath, half open-air bath, or hot spring inn which has an indoor bath with a view, and I would like to relax while looking at the mountains with snow still on the ground. If anyone knows a good place to stay, please let me know. We would like to stay on Sunday due to work. We would appreciate a smoking room as all three of us smoke.
