Unlike large hotels, this place is small and cozy, and time flows at a leisurely pace inside the building. The staff are very attentive and will warmly welcome you even if you visit alone, so you can relax. The large public bath and open-air bath facing the Kinugawa River are also atmospheric and sure to soothe you.

新幹線の駅からおよそ５００メートルほどです。湯沢高原ロープウェイ登り口の近くです。山々の連なる様子を見ながら温泉につかれます。趣向のちがう大浴場と露天風呂がそれぞれ2箇所づつあります。露天風呂付きの客室もありますよ（温泉ではないです）。お食事は海鮮がメインです。

歴史があり、格式高い旅館です。部屋は広々として、吹き抜けのロビーのつくりも高級感があります。風呂は木造の桃山風呂がすばらしい。岩作りの露天も風情があっていいと思います。冬季には、雪景色を眺めながら入浴ができます。この宿は、国の登録有形文化財でもあります。それでいて、そんなに高くない、穴場の温泉だと思います。料理では、高名な信州の牛肉をいただけます。参考になさってください。

The rooms are purely Japanese-style, reminiscent of my grandmother's house. The baths are available for private use in each room until 8 p.m., so you can take your time bathing alone. After 8 p.m., the baths are communal. The food is yuba, a Nikko dish! The freshly made yuba was really delicious and I thought it was good for the body. There are not many guest rooms, so I recommend it as a place to stay quietly.

渓谷沿いの露天温泉が素晴らしい

露天温泉は渓谷沿いにあり、川音を聞きながらひと時を過ごすのは最高です。内風呂もありますが、眺めは最高です。渓谷沿いに建つ山県館は、渓谷の眺めがよく、食事も満足しました。これまでに温泉の泉質に惹かれて二度利用しました。

この地域のほとんどは冬はスキーがメインの季節ですが、こちらの宿は温泉・料理とお酒・おもてなしも満足できると思います。大自然の中にある露天風呂では、雪見しながら木曽御嶽温泉を楽しめます。内湯の大浴場もとても広くて檜の香りが心地よくて癒されます。

宿には露天風呂付きのお部屋と大浴場があります。露天風呂付きのお部屋はバリアフリー対応の源泉かけ流しで、松之山の薬湯を充分に満喫できます。食事は地元の魚沼産コシヒカリや越後の田舎料理でとてもヘルシーです。部屋の窓から田舎の山々の風景がとても良いです。

駅からのアクセスも良く、徒歩圏内です。部屋の雰囲気がすごくよくて、落ち着きのある和室。露天の温泉は源泉かけ流しですし、種類が２つもあります。貸切風呂もあり、プライベートユースにオススメ。価格帯が安いのに、料理もしっかりしているので、「また行きたい」と思っていただけると思います。

こちらのホテルは細かなところまで配慮がされていて感動しました。展望露天風呂からは富士山が目の前に広がってとても気持ちがよかったです。大浴場の脱衣所もぬれタオル用のビニール袋が用意されてあったり、バスタオルも使ったら洗濯籠へ入れ毎回新しいバスタオルを使用できたり、お風呂のエントランスではお茶のサービスがあり、湯上りにゆっくりくつろげる。

JR越後湯沢駅西口より徒歩7分と立地も良いですし、お部屋のタイプも充実していますのでよりお得なプランでも利用できるかと思います。お部屋もレトロで落ち着けますのでおすすめかと思います。お部屋には露天風呂は付いてないですが、広々とした開放感のある露天の大岩風呂があります。夜は満点の星空を堪能でき、冬には雪見露天を楽しめます。
