If you stay between January 2nd and 3rd, you will be treated to a special New Year's Japanese kaiseki dinner! The hotel holds a Japanese drum show every night, but there is also a special show for New Year's. Prices for hotels in Japan are higher during the New Year holidays, but they still fill up, so make your reservation early!

I highly recommend Fuji Lake Hotel. If you book a Mount Fuji-view room, you can even gaze at the mountain while enjoying your bath. For a truly exceptional stay, consider upgrading to a room with a private open-air bath (rotenburo). Be sure to ask for counter seats at the "Akajuji" restaurant; the chef prepares your meal right in front of you, allowing you to appreciate not just the delicious flavors, but also the exquisite artistry of the presentation!

正月に初詣に行くなら奈良の春日大社がおすすめです。年が明けた1月1日には初太鼓の演奏とともに初詣が始まります。境内はライトアップされて幻想的で素敵です。奈良駅の近くに泊れば興福寺のそばを通って歩いて25分くらいで行けるので、奈良駅近くにあるHotel Nikko Naraに泊るのが良いと思います。初詣だけでなく、どこに行くにも便利なホテルですよ。

The location is superb! If you wake up early, you can take a walk on the path around the lake, which takes about an hour to complete. The crisp, clean morning air perfectly complements the majestic view of Mount Fuji, making for a refreshing walk. It is highly popular with families traveling with children. Near the inn, there is a nature museum where you can learn about the local natural environment. There is also a campsite nearby, allowing for a direct experience with rich nature.

Fuji-Q Highland is open during the New Year holidays, so how about a hotel nearby? After enjoying skating and the rides at the nearby Fuji-Q Highland, you can relax at your villa. There is a private open-air bath and a BBQ terrace, so adults can enjoy it too. You will need to bring your own ingredients for the BBQ, but the hotel will provide you with other equipment. They will also help you start a fire, so it's easy. They also have other items available for rental, such as takoyaki machines and table games, so you can spend your private time as if you were at your own villa.

If you are determined to stay in an inn with a Mount Fuji view, I highly recommend Fugakugunjo (富岳群青) in Nishi-Izu (West Izu). You can see a beautiful view of Mount Fuji from the large open-air bath, and even better, every single room offers a straight-on, clear view of Mount Fuji!

香川の大江戸温泉物語はどうでしょう。食事は朝・夕ともバイキングでそれぞれが好きなものを食べれる。卓球・カラオケが無料で楽しめる。ホテルのお風呂は大江戸温泉物語で、宿泊日によっては室内プールも利用でき、プールの周りにはジャグジーがいくつも有るので、大人でも長時間付き合える。（確かお正月は使えたような気がします）レオマワールドの敷地内にあり、おもちゃ王国はちびっこが楽しめる！

The open-air bath is very spacious, and if the weather is clear, it should be a truly comfortable and refreshing experience. The accommodation fees are also relatively affordable. They offer a shuttle service from the nearest station, Ohito Station, so it would be a good idea to contact them beforehand to arrange a pickup!

静岡の伊東温泉があるホテルです。お正月に大人がゆっくりできて子供も退屈しないホテルなので、おすすめいたします。以前利用したことがありますが、カラオケや卓球コーナーやゲームコーナーがあったので、お宿の中でもお子様は退屈しませんよ。お食事もお子様が喜ぶバイキングスタイルです。大人にうれしいお酒の飲み放題も付いたいました。天然温泉かけ流しの温泉で、ゆっくりできるのでおすすめのホテルです。

The inn's proud large baths are spacious and come in two types: a cypress bath and a rock bath, and can accommodate 200 men and women and 40 people in each open-air bath at the same time.

This hotel is incredibly convenient, being just a 5-minute walk from the Hakone Ropeway station. You can choose between a Japanese-style (washitsu) or a Western-style room. Both the Japanese/Western-style dinner and the buffet breakfast are delicious. Crucially, the open-air baths for both men and women offer a view of Mount Fuji while you are soaking. The view of Mount Fuji from the women’s open-air bath is said to be especially spectacular!

This hotel allows you to enjoy views of Mount Fuji right from your room. It’s conveniently located—only about a 5-minute drive from the Gotemba I.C. if you’re driving, or a 10-minute taxi ride from Gotemba Station if you’re taking the train. It's a very clean and lovely hotel, and of course, it has an open-air bath (rotenburo)!

Surprisingly, Kobe's Kitano Ijinkan District is within walking distance (about 8 minutes) from the Shinkansen stop (Shin-Kobe Station). The hotel we are introducing is located exactly halfway between this famous tourist spot and Ikuta Shrine, which is crowded with people making their first visit of the year every year. It is a great location for both sightseeing and visiting the shrine.

It is about 30 minutes by Kitakami Kyuko Railway from Sannomiya Station on the subway, and there is a hot spring shrine nearby (for fertility, safe childbirth, protection from evil, business prosperity, road safety, and longevity). The inn is the oldest hot spring in Japan, and has a day spa "Arima Onsen Taiko no Yu" where you can enjoy a total of 24 types of baths (Kinsen, Ginsen, and carbonated springs) and bedrock baths. It is also easily accessible to Kobe and Osaka, so if you have children, you can enjoy it according to your physical condition.
