Located in the center of Yuzawa Onsen town, it is highly recommended for its location, which makes it easy to visit the hot springs and eat your way around! It is also a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station, making it easily accessible. We enjoyed visiting the hot springs in independent guest cottages building, which is filled with garden atmosphere. There is also an open-air bath. For meals, we had a delicious Buffet made with carefully selected ingredients in the restaurant, which also has a live kitchen.

The Fuji Lake Hotel offers a luxurious experience with hot springs, conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. I confirmed with their official website's chat support that they have English-speaking staff, so guests who aren't confident in their Japanese will have a comfortable stay. While they have rooms with views of Lake Kawaguchiko, I definitely recommend booking a Mount Fuji view room for the best experience. Besides the large public baths, you can also reserve private baths where you can enjoy the onsen while gazing at Mount Fuji. What's unique about this hotel is their indoor Mount Fuji observation deck, which means you can see a snow-capped Mount Fuji at eye level, even if you visit in winter!

Located on the shores of Lake Yamanaka, this hotel offers beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. Oshino Hakkai is about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. If you're using public transportation, head to Mt. Fuji Station and take a bus to the entrance to Oshino Hakkai. As the hotel's name suggests, you can enjoy the best views of Mt. Fuji from various locations within the building, including the guest rooms and open-air hot spring baths.

You can enjoy the sound of the river or the starry sky from the open-air bath, making you feel as if you have the nature of Echigo Yuzawa all to yourself. Meals are appealing, including kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal Niigata ingredients, and breakfast where you can enjoy local rice straight from the source, which is fitting for a rice-growing region. You can experience plenty of hospitality even with a plan that falls within the 15,000 yen budget, and if your budget allows, we recommend upgrade your dinner to enjoy wagyu beef and luxurious seafood.

We stayed in a room with a view of Mt. Fuji, and were blessed with good weather, so we were very pleased to see the majestic Mt. Fuji. The view of nature and Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath was also very relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner were Buffet style, but there were also many Japanese dishes such as nigiri sushi and tempura. There were many foreigners and families, so the dining area was lively.

For dinner, you can enjoy a creative kaiseki meal made with seafood sashimi delivered directly from Niigata Port, Japanese beef, sticky pork, and seasonal vegetables. The sweet sake served at the end is also exceptionally delicious. In the morning, a special Japanese breakfast is served with many small dishes of local cuisine, and you won't be able to stop having second helpings of the freshly cooked koshihikari rice. There is a large public bath with free-flowing hot spring water, a garden bath, and a cypress bath, each of which has a large rock bath, two open-air baths, and an indoor bath. There is also a private bath with an indoor bath and an open-air bath, but this is available for a fee (1,000 yen for 45 minutes). The baths are open 24 hours a day. Water is not added or heated, but only the large indoor bath uses a circulator for hygienic reasons.

There is a free shuttle bus from Echigo Yuzawa Station, so the location is good, and it is a traditional hotel that is recommended. The hot springs are recommended because the water quality is good and you can relax, and the rooms are spacious.

It is located on a hill on the shore of Lake Ashi. It is a wonderful Hakone Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can feel the warm hospitality of the staff. We had meals in our room. The Kyoto-style kaiseki kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）was very carefully prepared, looked gorgeous, and tasted delicious. We were able to spend a relaxing time with a view of Mt. Fuji. The free private bath was spacious and relaxing.

Kyukamura Fuji is a highly renowned hotel, famous as a prime location to witness "Diamond Fuji" – where the rising sun aligns perfectly with the summit of Mount Fuji. This mystical sight, often accompanied by the inverted reflection of Fuji on Lake Tanuki, appears for about a week in both April and August. Many photographers and guests flock here specifically to experience this special moment, making it one of Japan's top viewing spots for Mount Fuji. They also offer cottage-style rental villas, allowing you to relax in a spacious and private setting.

I highly recommend Hotel Kaneyamaen. You can fully appreciate the majestic Mount Fuji from various angles by strolling through its vast Japanese garden or by soaking in the spectacular open-air bath on the rooftop. In early summer, fireflies dance over the stream flowing through the garden, creating a magical sight. In the evenings, they also host dynamic Japanese taiko drum shows, offering a wonderful opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture. This makes for a truly memorable stay!

From the Tokyo metropolitan area, you can go directly to the hotel in about 150 minutes from Shinjuku on the Odakyu Highway Bus. If you are traveling by train, it is about a 25-minute drive from Hakone-Yumoto Station. This is a long-established resort hotel located in one of the best locations on the shores of Lake Ashi in Hakone. You can see Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from the hotel, and you can enjoy Lake Ashi hot springs from the hotel's own source in the large communal bath and open-air bath. You can choose between Western and Japanese food for meals, and I chose Japanese food for dinner and Western food for breakfast, but dinner had a seasonal feel and was delicious and beautiful to look at.

The view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from the room was Breathtaking view. Mt. Fuji looked especially beautiful in the morning and it was very refreshing. For breakfast, we had a Japanese/Western Buffet, but you can also choose a Japanese meal. There is a main building and an annex, and the hot spring is in the annex. The hot spring was spacious and we were able to relax and enjoy it. The open-air bath with a view of Lake Ashi was also amazing.

Sado Island is famous for seafood and old gold mines, but there are many places with beautiful scenery on this island. The hotel I recommend is "Osado Onsen Hotel Osado." It is a hotel with a Breathtaking view view. You can see the majestic sunset over the Sea of Japan.

This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with natural hot springs. The hot spring is a simple sulfur spring with many beneficial effects, and you can enjoy a pleasant bath while looking at the Echigo mountain range. For dinner, we had a traditional banquet of local cuisine made with plenty of local ingredients, and we also enjoyed Echigo Mochi Pork and Niigata Wagyu Beef.

I stayed here while touring Hakone's three major sacred places Hakone Shrine, Kuzuryu Shrine, and Hakone Motomiya. The room was a spacious Japanese-style room on the first floor, with a view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji. The view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi from the open-air bath in the main building was so amazing that I wanted to stay in it forever. The indoor bath was also spacious and had a great view. However, the last bath in the main building is at 7pm, so I wanted to try using it after dinner. The indoor baths for guests can be used to relax in Takogawa Onsen until early in the morning or late at night.

For an ultimate Mount Fuji experience, the Mt. Fuji View Onsen Ooike Hotel in Kawaguchiko is a fantastic choice. Imagine soaking in the large public bath with the magnificent, picture-like Mount Fuji right before your eyes! If you opt for a room with a Fuji view, you can even enjoy the scenery from your living room and the in-room bath (note: the private in-room baths are not hot springs). They also have rooms that can accommodate up to five people, making it perfect for family trips or group travel with friends. While dining out is an option, the hotel offers excellent kaiseki cuisine (a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner) featuring local Yamanashi ingredients – a truly delightful experience!

The hotel is located about an 8-minute walk from JR Niigata Station, making it easily accessible. It is reasonably priced, has clean rooms, and offers good value for money. Although it is a business chain hotel, its main selling point is that it has a natural hot spring.

Their Sky Chapel, in particular, is an excellent spot with a direct view of Mount Fuji, and even if you're not attending a ceremony, you can usually enter by contacting the front desk. The guest rooms are designed for comfort and convenience, and being in the heart of Fuji City makes it easy to access tourist attractions and convenience stores.
