  • Hakone has rooms with views of Mt. Fuji

  • We stayed in a room with a view of Mt. Fuji, and were blessed with good weather, so we were very pleased to see the majestic Mt. Fuji. The view of nature and Mt. 700 Kosuge, Narita City, Chiba Pref.

  • There is a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Narita Station or Narita Airport.

  • The most convenient feature is the free shuttle bus that runs between the hotel, Narita Airport, the shopping mall, and Narita Station. Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, famous for its New Year's visits, can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot from Narita Station along the approach to the temple. If you go by car during the New Year's visit period, you will be stuck in heavy traffic waiting for a parking space, so it is recommended that you walk. You can also soak in Narita Onsen at the hotel. There is also a convenience store, which is convenient. In addition to Buffet there are also restaurants serving French, Chugoku, and Japanese cuisine. It is recommended as it is a reasonably priced place to stay.

Hakone 521

  • Feel the homely hospitality

  • It is located on a hill on the shore of Lake Ashi. It is a wonderful Hakone Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can feel the warm hospitality of the staff. We had meals in our room. The Kyoto-style kaiseki kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )was very carefully prepared, looked gorgeous, and tasted delicious. We were able to spend a relaxing time with a view of Mt. Fuji. The free private bath was spacious and relaxing.

3-17-1 Nishi-Asakusa Taito-ku

  • A Great, Secure Hotel for First-Time Visitors to Asakusa

  • I think the Asakusa View Hotel is a safe and good choice. It's one of the larger hotels in the Asakusa area, and there's always someone at the reception desk desk. Security is also solid, so even women traveling alone don't have to worry. The breakfast buffet has a great view and is very popular, with both Japanese and Western food to choose from. 2-24-2 Asakusa Taito-ku,

  • Charming Hostel with a Friendly, English-Speaking Vibe

  • I think you'll really love Sakura Hostel Asakusa! It’s less of a formal "hotel" and much more of a casual, international "hostel." The staff and guests are from all over the world, and it feels like English is the common language, so your friend should be able to relax right away. The lobby and shared kitchen are great social hubs where you can meet other travelers and trade tips. Of course, the staff are also experts on all the best local sightseeing spots in Asakusa. It’s kept very clean and you’ll see a lot of female travelers there, so I can definitely recommend it as a safe choice, too.

Taito-ku Nihonzutsumi 2-34-10

  • A Charming Design Ryokan with an Artistic Vibe and Welcoming Staff

  • For a unique stay, I'd suggest Andon Ryokan in the Minowa area. It's an incredibly stylish design ryokan, beautifully renovated from an older building. The interior is decorated with antique furniture and art, making it feel just like a small private museum. Unlike large, impersonal hotels, its real charm is the very at-home (cozy and welcoming) atmosphere. The staff speak excellent English and are very experienced with international guests, so your friend should feel comfortable immediately. I've also heard that they get a lot of female travelers staying there, so I can confidently recommend it as a safe choice. It's perfect if you're looking for a quiet, artistic stay in the shitamachi (traditional downtown) area.

  • 11-Minute Walk from Shin-Urayasu Station. No Transfers to Disneyland!

  • Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay boasts a large public bath with natural onsen(hot spring). It is very convenient as there are limousine buses from Narita Airport and Haneda Airport. A free shuttle bus to Disney Resort is available, a special privilege reserved for guests. The hotel also has Italian and Japanese restaurants, and if you book a plan with breakfast included, you can enjoy both Japanese and Western cuisine. I highly recommend trying the Japanese home-style dish "nikujaga" (meat and potato stew)!

813 Kuroya

  • Enjoy a country-style Japanese breakfast

  • This is a quiet inn located about a 15-minute walk from Wadokurodani Station. If you take a taxi from Seibu Chichibu Station, it will cost about 2,000 yen. There are paintings and vases displayed throughout the building, and the Japanese-style space has a warm atmosphere. You can eat dinner in a private dining room or in your room. It was a creative Japanese-style course meal using seasonal ingredients from Chichibu. The taste was exquisite, and there were so many dishes that I couldn't finish it all. There were various meat dishes, fish dishes, wild vegetables, etc. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal based on the concept of a rural Japanese breakfast, and I enjoyed it with small amounts of various side dishes. I chose a Japanese-style room that was a little on the higher end, but the view was good and I could see the Yokose River from my room. I was able to relax in the spacious Japanese-style room. There was also a room with an open-air bath. There is a private bath and a private bedrock bath, but it costs money. It was a very comfortable inn.

139 Motohakone

  • A recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn) to stay at when touring the three shrines of Hakone

  • I stayed here while touring Hakone's three major sacred places Hakone Shrine, Kuzuryu Shrine, and Hakone Motomiya. The room was a spacious Japanese-style room on the first floor, with a view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji. The view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi from the open-air bath in the main building was so amazing that I wanted to stay in it forever. The indoor bath was also spacious and had a great view. However, the last bath in the main building is at 7pm, so I wanted to try using it after dinner. The indoor baths for guests can be used to relax in Takogawa Onsen until early in the morning or late at night.
