京都の三十三間堂からすぐのところにある宿坊ですが、宿坊といいつつ、近代的なので初めて宿坊に泊まる人にはおすすめです。豊臣秀吉が幼くして亡くなった息子の鶴松を追悼するために長谷川等伯に書かせた障壁画などを見ることができ、お坊さんがガイドをしてくれるところが特徴です。食事は京懐石と精進料理から選ぶことができます。

いろんなプランがある京都の宿坊

京都の観光名所として有名な知恩院にある宿坊です。全室にバス・トイレ、エアコンなど完備。ベッドのお部屋もあります。旬の食材を利用したお料理は懐石料理で、精進料理では物足りないという人にはおすすめ。宿坊らしくない感じですが、写経体験ができたりと、いわゆる普通の宿坊とはちょっと異なる贅沢が味わえる宿です。

JR京都駅八条口（新幹線口）から一番近いホテル

新幹線でJR京都駅を降り八条口から徒歩2、3分で到着するアクセスが便利なホテルです。本館ツインが割安だが部屋は若干狭いので、少し奮発してサウスウィングにすれば約23平米と快適な空間が楽しめる。地下鉄と市バスの一日フリーキップを利用すれば、格安で市内のほとんどの寺社仏閣を巡ることができる。なお、チェックアウト後もフロントで荷物を預かってくれるので便利である。

If you're planning on visiting the shrine for the first time in the New Year, I recommend Kasuga Taisha Shrine in Nara. On January 1st, the first shrine visit of the new year begins with the first drum performance. The grounds are lit up at night, creating a fantastic and beautiful atmosphere. If you stay near Nara Station, you can walk past Kofuku-ji Temple in about 25 minutes, so I recommend staying at Hotel Nikko Nara near Nara Station. It's a convenient hotel for not only visiting the shrine for the first time, but also for going anywhere.

It is a 2-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station, so it has great access to public transportation. You can also visit Tawawa Shrine, which is located on the observation deck, and see the Kyoto skyline. It is also close to cafes, shopping malls, bus stops, etc., making it convenient for sightseeing and souvenir shopping.

It is close to Kashihara Shrine, so it is perfect for New Year's visits. There are Japanese-style and Western-style rooms. The ancient capital of Kashihara is the perfect place to spend time feeling the romance of the Manyo period. There is a hot spring bath called "Kashihara no Yu" that springs from within the hotel grounds, so you can enjoy the hot springs. Asuka is a 10-minute drive away.

普門院は数ある宿坊の中でも最高級の宿坊だと思います。和歌山県高野山にある宿坊ですが、お部屋はベッドがある和洋室のスイートから和室10畳のシンプルなお部屋まで選ぶことができます。もちろんお値段はそれなりに高いですが、写経体験ができたり精進料理がいただけたりと、普通の宿坊で得られる体験は一通りできます。プランによっては部屋食もできます。若い人同士の旅行というよりは、一度、高野山観光をしてみたいという親御さんへのプレゼント旅行にぴったりだと思いますよ。

滋賀県にある宿坊ですが文殊楼の後ろにあり、静かな場所にあります。朝は自由参加で、根本中堂でお勤めに参加します。すがすがしい気持ちになれます。食事は勿論精進料理ですが、色とりどりで美しく、楽しく食べられます。大浴場からの琵琶湖の眺めも最高です。

和歌山県高野山にある宿坊ですが、宿泊プランが充実していて（こう書くと、宿坊じゃないみたいですが）面白い宿です。朝のお勤め付きの精進料理1泊2食付きプランから、持ち込みOKの素泊まりプラン、お念珠作りやお坊さんと一緒に朝の壇上伽藍ツアーなどから選べます。格安というわけではありませんが、トイレ、洗面所付きでWi-Fi付きの部屋もあり、納得のお値段だと思います。特にお念珠作りは、良い思い出になる体験だと思います！

神戸の北野異人館街は意外に、新幹線の停車駅（新神戸駅）から徒歩圏内（8分くらい）のところにあります。この有名観光地と初詣客で毎年賑わう生田神社の、ちょうど中間にあるのが紹介のホテルです。観光にも初詣にも絶好のロケーションではないでしょうか。

決して安い旅館ではないのですで、予約が途切れることの少ない、京都は嵐山の「渡月橋」は、いかがでしょうか。なにぶんお正月の京都ですので、混雑はあると思いますが、社寺を選べばそれほどでもありません。なによりお正月気分を存分に楽しめます。
