  • There are only two rooms with an open-air bath, but you can enjoy a bath with just two people while looking out at the valley.

20. 三平荘

1-7 Minaguchichō, Atami

  • A hot spring inn where you can relax with natural beauty and high-quality hot spring water

  • It was a small inn with a homey feel, and a comfortable stay. The room I stayed in was a 10 tatami Japanese-style room with an adjoining room and a half open-air bath. Although it was a half open-air bath, it was on a corner, so you could enjoy the natural beauty from two sides, and it had the same luxurious beauty of a view as an open-air bath. Perhaps because there are only a few rooms, it was nice that we could eat freshly cooked food. Hot food was served hot. The sashimi was plump and delicious. There were plenty of vegetables, so there was a large selection, but we were able to enjoy everything. The open-air bath in the large communal bath also had a wonderful Japanese feel. I recommend it when you want to spend a relaxing time at the inn.
