Every Room Faces Atami Bay, Perfect for Fireworks!
-
All rooms at Kamenoi Hotel Atami face Atami Bay. It's a little far to see the fireworks, but rather than watching them from a crowded venue, you can relax and enjoy the fireworks on your balcony while drinking a beer you bought. There are rooms that can accommodate up to four people, so it's perfect for a trip with friends. It was recently renovated, so it's beautiful. The room rate goes up on fireworks days, but it gets crowded with people who still want to see the fireworks from their rooms, so make sure to make your reservation early!

A lovely inn in the mountains of Hyogo Prefecture
-
This mountain inn is known as the setting for Tajima's "Yumechiyo Nikki." The hot spring Arayu here is the hot spring with the highest temperature and volume of water in Japan, and is said to be the "Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty)" or "hot spring of beautiful skin." You can enjoy these hot springs in an open-air bath with a thatched roof or a 1200-year-old cypress bath. For meals, you can eat kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )using seasonal ingredients such as Tajima beef, Japan's finest brand of beef. In particular, the specially ordered dishes such as boiled or salt-grilled blackthroat seaperch, Tajima beef premium sirloin steak, sashimi squid, and grilled turban shell are exquisite.

All rooms have ocean views! See the fireworks from your room!
-
I stayed here for one night, though it wasn't during a fireworks day. It's right in front of the ocean, and all rooms have ocean views! Plus, I heard that the rooftop terrace offers excellent fireworks views. The rooms are spacious, and the large windows offer great views of the sea. Not just the rooms, but the entire hotel is designed functionally, making it suitable for long-term stays. There's even an area recommended for "workation" (work + vacation), where you can enjoy all-you-can-drink beer and free snacks while working, then relax in the hot springs – it's the best! While it's not an open-air bath, the large public bath with hot springs was very satisfying. To enter, you input a key code sent via email at the 1F entrance, and check-in is done via a tablet with an operator, so there are no staff present on the 1F. Just be aware that you cannot store luggage here!

Spectacular Fireworks & Excellent Hot Spring Facilities
-
I wanted to enjoy the Atami Marine Fireworks from my room, so I stayed at Atami Korakuen Hotel with my family! The location of this hotel is the best, facing Atami Bay. When I made the reservation, I specified an ocean view room where I could see the fireworks, and I was impressed by the spectacular fireworks I could see from the balcony. Especially on the day of the fireworks, the whole hotel was in a festive mood and the excitement was heightened. The meal was a nice point that you could choose between a buffet style mainly with seafood and kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )you can savor at your leisure. I chose the buffet, but there was a wide variety of fresh sashimi and roast beef, and everything was delicious. Eating while looking out at the sea from the window further enhanced the resort atmosphere. There was a hot spring facility attached, and the outdoor standing bath there was Breathtaking view that seemed to be integrated with Sagami Bay. It was quite deep, so small children were not allowed in, but there were many other baths so the whole family could enjoy it. There was also a large observation bath inside the hotel, and here too, I was able to soak in the bath while looking out over Sagami Bay and enjoying the beautiful night view. There are also shops, karaoke, beauty salons and more, so you can have fun all day long inside the hotel.

Prime Spot for Atami Fireworks & Amazing Onsen and Meals!
-
married couple and I stayed at Tsuki no Sumika Atami Juraku Hotel, which is located just a 3-minute walk from Atami Station and has excellent access. Our main purpose was to watch the Atami Marine Fireworks from our room! The fireworks were so impressive that I was so moved that I cried out loud. It is the ultimate luxury to be able to watch such amazing fireworks in a private space. If you choose the right time and plan, you can stay for around 20,000 yen per person, which is a very satisfying price for this quality. We ate both dinner and breakfast in our room. Since we didn't have to move, we were able to relax without worrying about our surroundings. The food served was full of local ingredients, including fresh seafood, Izu wagyu beef, and more. In particular, the freshly cooked rice kettle for breakfast and the dried fish, a specialty of Atami, which you can grill yourself, were unforgettable. The hot springs were also wonderful, and Atami Onsen, which are said to have skin-beautifying effects, left my skin moist and smooth after bathing. In addition to the large public bath, there was a private bath that could be used free of charge, so married couple and I were happy to be able to enjoy the hot springs without any worries. And the warm hospitality of the staff really left an impression on me. Their attentive service and smiling faces helped me to relax so much that all my daily fatigue disappeared. If you want to create the best memories in Atami, Tsuki no Sumika Atami Juraku Hotel is definitely the right choice!

This Ryokan is renowned for its 100% natural, free-flowing hot springs that are neither circulated nor filtered. It boasts five private open-air baths, all located on the top floor, offering superb views while you soak. Since they are private, you can enjoy your time without worrying about others, ensuring a truly personal experience. If you want to see the fireworks from your room, booking a sea-facing room is essential. Some fireworks might be partially obscured by a neighboring apartment building, but if that's not an issue, it's a great choice. You can also enjoy breakfast and dinner in your room, allowing for a private and special time. The spacious, tatami-matted rooms will help you relax even more.

Directly connected to the underground mall, convenient in winter!
-
If you are coming to Hokkaido from Honshu by plane, you can reach the hotel without getting lost by taking a rapid train from Chitose Airport. It's great to be connected underground. There is an underground shopping mall next to the hotel. JR Sapporo Station and Daimaru are located above the hotel. You can also reach Odori, the venue for the Snow Festival, with just one subway train (5 minutes)! It's about a 20-minute walk past the clock tower. If you're a woman, you can get there in no time if you're chatting. Be careful of your feet and the snow removal vehicles in the early morning.

There aren't many inns in Okinawa that let you enjoy natural hot springs
-
This natural hot spring has a "fossil seawater hot spring" that is about 8 million years old. The spring quality is high in salt and almost odorless, which is quite unique compared to other hot springs. You can bathe like you would in a normal bath, so even those with clear preferences for scents and such should find it easy to enter. Meals are often served buffet style, so even if you have different appetites, everyone can eat as much as they like of what they like. There is also a plan for a BBQ by the pool, so if you want to enjoy the resort atmosphere, we recommend that.
