Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine can be reached by public transport from Nishitetsu Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) Station, or by subway from the airport to Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) Station, and this city hotel is easily accessible from Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) Underground Shopping Mall in the downtown area. It is currently undergoing renovation, but the rooms before the renovation are particularly affordable.

If you're looking for a reasonable hotel in the Dazaifu area, you'll probably want to go to Route Inn Dazaifu. The standard plan is available for less than 10,000 yen per person. The road is a bit winding, but it's less than 2km from Tenmangu Shrine, so it's about a 15-minute walk away. It's a bit far from the station, but it's about a 5-minute drive from Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station, so taking a taxi is probably acceptable.

On January 1st, the first shrine visit of the new year begins with the first drum performance. The grounds are lit up at night, creating a fantastic and beautiful atmosphere. If you stay near Nara Station, you can walk past Kofuku-ji Temple in about 25 minutes, so I recommend staying at Hotel Nikko Nara near Nara Station. The nearest station is Gion Station, but it is also conveniently located within walking distance of Hakata Station. There is a bus from Hakata Station to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Surprisingly, Kobe's Kitano Ijinkan District is within walking distance (about 8 minutes) from the Shinkansen stop (Shin-Kobe Station). The hotel we are introducing is located exactly halfway between this famous tourist spot and Ikuta Shrine, which is crowded with people making their first visit of the year every year. It is a great location for both sightseeing and visiting the shrine.

愛媛県松山市道楽にある、伊佐爾波神社は心願成就・良縁・家内安全などのご利益があります。パワースポット巡りと一緒に道楽温泉も楽しめるのでおすすめです。こちらのホテルは、伊佐爾波神社まで徒歩5分以内でとても近く、道後温泉の隣なので朝の一番風呂にも入れます。一番に並べて太鼓の音とともに入り、ゆったり一人で浸かることができました。ホテル内も綺麗でとても良かったです。

パワースポットといえば出雲大社。出雲大社から距離はありますが、皆生温泉の温泉街にはぜひ一度泊まっていただきたいです。温泉街のなかでもこちらの温泉宿「華水亭」は最高です。「おもてなし」がとても良くて、お部屋から海も眺められリフレッシュできました。料理も新鮮な海の幸や、鳥取和牛など食べきれないほどの量でおいしかったです。家族や友人と過ごせるいい温泉旅館だと思います。

関東最強のパワースポットと言われる埼玉県秩父市の三峯神社。首都圏にありながら意外と遠く、神聖な神社にお参りするなら早朝に行きたいものです。ホテルからは車で約1時間かかりますが、ホテルの周辺には観光名所の「芝桜の丘」や秩父神社が近く、冬は秩父夜祭も近くで開催しているので観光の拠点にはおすすめです。
