こちらは女子に嬉しい花びら露天や岩盤浴（女性は岩盤浴を無料でご利用できます）が自慢の宿です。また温泉はすぐれた泉質のナトリウム・カルシウム-塩化物・高温泉で美肌の湯と言われそれらをバラの貸切露天風呂「天水」や露天風呂付き男湯「花苑」で楽しめます。そして食事ですが、満腹かにフルコースがお勧めです。冬は「津居山ガニ」コースもあります。それから女性用の浴衣がたくさん用意されてますよ。

「つるや旅館」は、昭和レトロな趣のある宿で、大谿川沿いの柳並木のほとりに立っています。目の前にはロープウェイがあり、城崎温泉街の7つの外湯の一つ「庭園風呂・鴻の湯」へは徒歩１分と好立地です。浴衣を着て外湯めぐりや温泉街散策を楽しむのにぴったりの宿になります。全９室のみの客室は、落ち着いた純和風の空間です。どこか懐かしく温かい雰囲気の中、心も体もリラックスして過ごせますよ。素泊まりプランもあるので、城崎温泉の外湯巡りを存分に満喫できます。

露天風呂付客室は部屋のグレードで価格は色々あって、最低価格でも一人70,000円はするが、最上階の景色抜群の部屋で、露天風呂はもちろん銀湯の温泉だ。食事は厳選会席で、同階の厨房で調理されたものを熱い内に部屋に運ばれる。神戸牛のフィレ・サーロインステーキ、鮑、雲丹等の口取、明石鯛や鮪の活き造り等贅の限りを尽くしている料理だ。朝食はこれは夕食かと見紛うほどの豪華な食事だ。部屋の風呂ももちろん良いが宿の展望大浴場が同階にあるので、行きやすい。同浴場には、眼下に絶景を見渡せる広々とした内風呂（銀泉）に金泉、銀泉を味わえる露天風呂がそれぞれあり、サウナも併設されている。因みに地下にも素晴らしい大浴場が有る。時間があれば行かれる事をお薦めする。９階とは風情が全く異なる内風呂、露天風呂がある。

設楽焼の陶器半露天風呂が付いた和室８畳に泊まるプランがおすすめだ。夕食は但馬牛のしゃぶしゃぶと茹で蟹をメインとした海鮮会席料理をのんびりと部屋食に出来ます。朝も部屋食で和食膳を味わえる。貸切風呂が二ヶ所有るがもちろん無料で入れる。女性には色浴衣を無料貸出して貰えるので、チェックイン後直ぐに借りると良い。夕食前にチェックイン時に貰う外湯めぐりパスポートで外湯に入るのも良いだろう。
