It is about a 3-minute walk from Arawayunomachi Station. It is a high-class Ryokan (Japanese inn) that costs over 30,000 yen per night. In winter, they mainly serve crab dishes. You can enjoy snow crab Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）and fatty Wakasa puffer fish in the cold. The large public bath is designed all the way up to the ceiling, which is also worth seeing.

The guest rooms in the new building, which overlook the hot spring town of Tamatsukuri, are nice, but we recommend staying in a traditional Japanese-style room built with wood, where you can fully appreciate the beauty of a Japanese house that echoes the garden outside. It's nice to soak in the open-air bath that blends in with nature from your relaxing room, or to soak in the large bath surrounded by boulders.

I think it's nice to be able to relax in a not-too-large Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a hospitable atmosphere. I recommend this inn. You can also have dinner in your room (subject to change depending on the season), and the portions are plentiful, and everything was delicious, including the crab. The bath was spacious, and the open-air bath overlooking the bamboo forest was very comfortable. The location was also close to Tamasakuyu Shrine, so I was able to walk there and see the sights.

The Wakasa beef was delicious and we were very satisfied, as well as the seafood that is unique to Wakasa. They came to pick us up at Awara Onsen Station, so it was easy to drop in.

５つ星ホテルとはうたっていないのですが、施設、サービス、食事ともに大満足でした。旅館のコンセプトがかぐや姫の「竹取物語」なだけあり、箱根の自然と調和した遊び心いっぱいの旅館でした。結婚記念日などお祝いシーンでの利用でも人気な宿ですよ。

The interior of the room was bright with a natural atmosphere, and the view of the lake was excellent. We were able to relax like we were in a villa, so it was a very good stay.
