It's also a great hotel for solo travelers, so you can feel completely comfortable staying there on your own.

こちらの宿は、夕食も朝食もとてもおいしくて、量も多く大満足でした。蕎麦で有名なお宿なので、夕食も朝食も蕎麦が食べれて、蕎麦好きの私にはうれしい限りでした。客室は清潔感があり、窓からは滝が見え、とてもくつろげました。露天風呂もちょうど良い温度で、滝の音聞きながらのんびりできました。空気が澄んでいて、見上げた夜空に癒されました。徒いて5分くらいでアクセスできる雰囲気のある温泉街も楽しめました。

大正ロマン感のある宿で少し古さを感じる宿です。登録有形文化財宿に登録されているくらいなので、綺麗な宿がいい方にはあまりお勧めできません。古くはありますが清潔感はありますし、お料理も美味しです。滞在期間中アルコールを含めフリードリンクになっていたりとサービス面も満足できると思います。（アルコールは22時まで）木造のなので隣の部屋の方の音など響きやすいので注意が必要です。温泉はこぢんまりとしていますが清潔があり、源泉かけ流しの温泉が堪能できます。

男鹿温泉街でもっとも海の近い御宿です。源泉掛け流しの内風呂と男鹿の海が望める露天風呂があります。御食事は、近海で採れたはたはたや鰺などを桶にぶち込み、具材が揃ったところで400度に熱せられた石で一挙にしあげます。

温泉好きなら、「深山荘 高見屋」の貸切風呂はぜひ体験してほしいです。蔵王のお湯は、白く濁った強い酸性の硫黄泉で、日本でも有数の泉質です。この宿のおすすめポイントは、大浴場だけでなく、貸切風呂も「源泉かけ流し」であることです。蛇口をひねってお湯を薄めたり循環させたりしていない、本物の温泉をプライベートな空間で楽しめます。大浴場も良いですが、一人でゆっくりと「お湯そのもの」と向き合いたい人には、ここの貸切風呂は最高の贅沢ですよ。
