I went to Yakushima 10 years ago. It is the largest hotel in Yakushima and has a 33,000m2 garden. When you enter the hotel, you are greeted by a huge Yakusugi tree that reaches up to the second floor. I don't know if it's still there, but when I went to Yakusugi Land by bus, I was surprised that the guests of Iwasaki Hotel were allowed to board even when it wasn't a bus stop, and when we came across a deer in the mountains on the way, the bus stopped and we had time to take photos. It was a wonderful trip.

I would like to recommend Suimeikan. Dinner was not Buffet, but a Japanese-Western fusion banquet using fresh ingredients from Tobida, but there was a lot of food on the menu and I was full. Although you will be confined to your room, the baths at the inn are also great, so please do try them out. For dinner, you can enjoy dishes that can only be eaten here, such as Tochigi pork Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）and whole trout sashimi. The inn has a calm and elegant atmosphere. The room with the open-air bath faces the garden and has a high-quality alcove. I was able to spend my time relaxing and enjoying the private hot springs many times while looking out at the garden. The meal was a kaiseki meal made with local ingredients, which I enjoyed with the local sake recommended by the innkeeper. You can go down to the Kinugawa River from the courtyard and take a leisurely stroll.

They are colorless, but the water quality is different.

The Kinugawa Onsen Hotel is great. I think it's one of the best hot springs in the Kanto region, and the spring quality is excellent. Kinugawa, surrounded by nature, will help you relieve your daily fatigue. You can get there from Tokyo by train without having to transfer, and you don't need to rent a car there.
