屋久島で一番大きなホテル

10年前に屋久島に行きました。屋久島で一番大きなホテルで1万坪の庭園があり、ホテルの中に入ると2階まで突き抜ける様な大きな屋久杉が迎えてくれる。今もあるのか分からないですが、屋久杉ランドにバスで行った時に驚いたのは、いわさきホテルの宿泊者は停留所でなくても載せてもらったり途中の山中で鹿に出会った時はバスを止めて写真を取る時間を頂いたりと素晴らしい旅行になりました。

展望大浴場からの夜景に感動した

私がお勧めしたいのは水明館です。料理は夕食はバイキングではなくて、飛弾の新鮮な食材を使った和と洋の折衷会席でしたがメニューが多くてお腹いっぱいになりました。朝食は和と洋のバイキング式でこちらもメニューが豊富でしたよ。お風呂は数か所ありますが、展望大浴場は下呂の街の夜景が見えて感動しました。

The inn has a calm and elegant atmosphere. The room with the open-air bath faces the garden and has a high-quality alcove. I was able to spend my time relaxing and enjoying the private hot springs many times while looking out at the garden. The meal was a kaiseki meal made with local ingredients, which I enjoyed with the local sake recommended by the innkeeper. There are many different types of rooms available, so choose the one you like. We stayed in a room with Japanese hearth, which is a relaxing space. There is an open-air bath on the terrace, so we were able to relax in the hot springs while looking out at the magnificent natural beauty. When we entered the building, we were overwhelmed by the large atrium, which made us feel like we were traveling. There are rooms with open-air baths, if that's what you want. Even young couples can enjoy the baths and spend some private time here. We also had dinner in a private room at the restaurant. It was a wonderful experience.

「鬼怒川温泉ホテル」は良いですよ。関東を代表する温泉地の１つだと思いまし、泉質も良いです。自然に囲まれた鬼怒川は、日ごろの疲れを癒してくれると思います。東京からは、電車で乗り換えなしで行けますし、ここなら現地でレンタカーも不要です。
