There are several venues for the Kurashiki Hinamatsuri, and I heard from the hotel that you need to travel by train to get there. There is an underground shopping mall next to the hotel. JR Sapporo Station and Daimaru are located above the hotel. You can also reach Odori, the venue for the Snow Festival, with just one subway train (5 minutes)! It's about a 20-minute walk past the clock tower. If you're a woman, you can get there in no time if you're chatting. Be careful of your feet and the snow removal vehicles in the early morning.
