This is a hot spring inn belonging to the Yukai Resort group, and since it is located on a hilltop, the view is great. There is a large window in the large public bath, and at night the city lights are very beautiful. Dinner is buffet style, and you can enjoy not only Western dishes such as homemade roast beef, but also specialty dishes made with local Gifu ingredients. All this for less than 10,000 yen per person is cheap!

"Suimeikan" is an inn consisting of four buildings lined up along the Tobida River. Each building has a different atmosphere, but if you would like to enjoy the night view, we recommend "Rinsenkaku". This building is the highest of the four, so if you request a room on the upper floors you can get a panoramic view of Gero's townscape. There are several dining options, and while dinner is a kaiseki meal, there is Buffet for breakfast.

The Honokidaira Ski Resort is about 20km away, and it's about 40 minutes by car, or about an hour by bus, so it's not that far. The locally produced regional cuisine, especially the dishes using Hida beef, are the best in the world.

We had a wonderful view of the mountains from our Japanese-style room. open-air bath with the trees in front of you gave us the feeling of forest bathing, which was great. As it is part of the Oedo hot spring group, the buffet was very substantial. There was a wide variety of Japanese, Western, Chinese and sweets on the menu. The tempura was freshly fried in the live kitchen, and the steaks were also freshly grilled, which was very satisfying. Being able to choose the color of the yukata was also a nice service. There are also playful elements to this inn, so it's a fun place to stay.

Located on the edge of the hot spring town of Gero Onsen, it is the perfect place to relax after enjoying a walk around the town. The hot springs are free-flowing from the source, and the open-air bath is spacious so you can stretch your legs. The rooms are spacious and come with futons, so the service is good.

For couples, we recommend "Ogawaya" in Gero Onsen. The rose bath is highly recommended. It's a setting that any woman would enjoy. For meals, you can choose the buffet for breakfast. You will be satisfied with both the quality and quantity.

There are two private open-air baths along the Hida River, so you can enjoy a relaxing family bath. After the hot springs, you can enjoy the classic table tennis. For dinner, you can enjoy Hida's local cuisine, such as Hoba-yaki. The local Hida sake was so delicious that I drank too much.

If you are traveling alone in Gero Onsen, I recommend this place. The Japanese-style guesthouse building has a relaxing atmosphere. You can enjoy kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）of Hida beef sukiyaki by Japanese hearth, and you can spend a very relaxing and luxurious time. Parking is free and within your budget. You will definitely be satisfied.

You take the elevator to the basement floor, and the moment you get in, you'll smell sulfur and get excited. The indoor bath is spacious and has plenty of places to wash. There is a little distance between the indoor bath and the open-air bath, but there are two hot springs with different water quality. The open-air bath at the front has "yunohana" precipitated in it, so when you enter, the "yunohana" floats in the air and turns the bath white and cloudy!

「むら山」をおすすめします。飛騨の里山にある秘湯宿なので比較的年末年始でも宿泊はとりやすいです。薪ストーブがあり冬は風情があり、純和風の建物だから木の温もりを感じる癒しの空間があります。温泉は昔ながらの内湯ですが、湯質は柔らかく身体がいつまでもポカポカ暖かく気持ち良いです。湯がお肌に馴染んでツルツルになります。お料理は岐阜県ならではの川の幸、山の幸を堪能できます。炭火の囲炉裏で焼き上げた川魚は最高です。日本酒と一緒に楽しめます。岐阜県と言えば飛騨牛！ステーキもすき焼きもあるのですが、飛騨牛の甘さと旨味と柔らかさには驚きます。心も身体も大満足な内容です。年末年始は美味しい料理に温泉という方には素晴らしい秘湯宿です。

From the open-air bath, Breathtaking view spread out before your eyes. At night, you can go out to the terrace and look at the starry sky. For dinner, we had a kaiseki meal with melt-in-your-mouth Hida beef. It was a half-buffet style, and we were able to freely sample local cuisine, which was very good.

This is a place where you can easily bring children. It's a relatively small Ryokan (Japanese inn), but the food is good, and the hot spring water is silky smooth and excellent. I'm also a fan of Gero Onsen, and I remember the hot spring water here being particularly good. I stayed in a Japanese-style room, which had a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. It's very close to the station, so it's easy to get there by train, and I'm glad that the location is also ideal for strolling around the hot spring town. You can easily stay for around 20,000 yen.

It's close to Gotemba so it's easy to do sightseeing the next day, and it's close to Gotemba Station, so it's a great location for shopping. It's within a 30-minute drive from the Safari Park, so I think it's a good, reasonably priced hotel. It's not a natural hot spring, but it has a large public bath, so I recommend it.

I recommend "Hida Hanazato no Yu Takayama Ouan." It's easily accessible, just a two-minute walk from JR Takayama Station. The guest rooms are very Japanese-modern and stylish, and are very comfortable.
