Dinner was kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using luxurious ingredients such as Shimane Wagyu beef, Oki Matsuba crab, blackthroat seaperch, and white squid. For breakfast, we had a Buffet style meal of a wide variety of dishes, including the inn's original pancakes served with brown sugar syrup.

This is a Kinugawa Onsen inn where you can enjoy in-room dining in a Japanese-style room. It is located along the Kinugawa River, and the inn itself is built on a huge rock. You can see the flow of the Kinugawa River from the large public bath. There is a independent guest cottages open-air bath where you can enjoy the hot springs in the forest.

We recommend the Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Ichii, Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in a hot spring area 25 minutes by bus from Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station. The tourist spot, the Yubatake, is right in front of the hotel, and although it's limited, you can see it from the rooms. Yumomi (A technique in which a board approximately 180cm long is placed in the hot spring to stir the water and lower the temperature until it is ready to bathe.) experience costs 600 yen for adults, so it's perfect for tourists. For meals, you can choose between a Japanese course meal or a kaiseki meal.

The guest rooms are calming Japanese-style rooms, and the open-air bath allows you to bathe in Tamatsukuri Onsen while looking at the bamboo forest, making this a popular inn for girls' trips.
