I'm going to the Sapporo Snow Festival. Are there any reasonably priced hotels near the venue?

Three girls are going to the Sapporo Snow Festival. We heard it's a popular event, so we want to reserve a hotel early. Are there any reasonably priced hotels that are close to the festival site? We're OK with just a room and board.

A hot spring inn that can be reached within an hour by train from Osaka city

I'm planning to go to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka with my boyfriend. I want to stay at a hot spring inn, so I would like some recommendations for inns that are within an hour's train ride from Osaka city. Since it's been a while since I've been on a trip, I'd like to splurge a little and narrow down my options to a place with a bath that the two of us can share, such as a private open-air bath or a room with an open-air bath.

I would like to go see the Great Buddha of Kamakura at Kotoku-in Temple, which is designated as a national treasure.
